I have taken all three of my girls to Dr. Leland. He is the one who discovered a birth defect on my oldest. I Love this Man, my kids love him. His office is a little outdated, but after all you are only there a short time, so no fish to me is no big deal!!! Dr. Leland talks to my children about stranger danger, about gun safety, about who is and who isn't allowed to touch them. I come from a all medical family, my Mother is an OB nurse, do you think she would let us just take them anywhere??? Not a Chance. Thanks Dr. Leland!! If you need further proof of what a great Doc he is, just look at his walls in the office, thousands of pictures of kids and their families!!!

Dr. Leland is awesome! He has been around forever, and he practices medicine like it was before HMO's gave physicians six minutes per patient. He keep very up to date, attending grand rounds at Riley hospital and stays up on the research while keeping that old school patient relationship. He is very connected to all the best physicians and will refer kids to the best local specialists if you need one. One of my children has special needs, and Dr. Leland has been a champ, advocating for him to get every service that will help him.

Dr. Leland is where other doctors take their kids. I would take that as a ""clue"".

I don't even know the guy but when I called because he was on call for the weekend, just his message sounded awful. It sounded rude and almost as though it was a burden to be ""on call"" and have to deal with children who get sick on the weekend. I really only wanted to ask if I should wait for the morning to see my ped or take her to a clinic... regardless, I am worried about having him see her so I think we'll go to the clinic instead! Maybe my opinion may change after meeting him and at that time I may rewrite an evaluation, but so far, I am scared to even call him.

My daughter was born premature and now she is 4.5 years old now. Till today she is very healthy and active because of Dr.Leland. Dr.Leland is next to GOD.

Dr Leland was the on call doctor when my son was born but I had a peditrician set up to see my son closer to where we live on the west side. I had tons of issues with the other pediatrician and I was looking for a second opinion and that when I called Dr Lealand. He had taken such good care of him in the hospital, so it seemed logical. Dr Leland sat down and discussed the issues I was having with my son's other doctor and he listened for at least a half an hour. He gave me many options to try with my son. My son had reflux and sensitivity to milk. He encouraged me to call him any time if I had questions, or just up date him on my sons status. My son has seen Dr Leland ever since. It is definatly worth the extra drive to see him!

Dr. James Leland is by far the best physician out there. He was a referral to begin with from someone we highly trust. We personally have used him since the birth of our children but now our children are using him for their children. He does not take chances, he treats our children like they were his. Our grandson at 3 months old was not acting himself and when we called Dr. Leland - it was an immediate response to take him to emergency. Well without going on and on and on ---- WE LOVE DR. LELAND

I have taken my three sons to Dr. Leland for the past 20 years. Excellent doctor, spent a lot of time during the exams, never hesitated to send to a specialist when needed. He truly cares for the childrens' health and wellbeing.

We have been taking our child to Dr. Leland for sometime now and have been very happy with him. He is very up to date on all the latest literature in the field and the newest recommendations. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician.

I have taken my seven month old Daughter to Dr. Leland since she was born and I have never been satisfied with service from him. First of all he spends 5 min max in the exam room and barely answers any questions that I have concerning her. I decided to change pediatricians for her when he became adamant about not addressing my concern about her not being on a certain formula. Normally, I wouldn't take the time to write a bad review unless I was certainly unhappy, but in this case I am. He never had my daughters best interest in mind and I hope noone else has to go through the same thing I did.
