William Penn Elementary School 49 is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and extracurricular programs for students in kindergarten through grade six. William Penn Elementary School 49 works in partnerships with the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center, Electronic Data Systems, and National Starch and Chemical Company. Additionally, it maintains peace, running, instrumental music and bell choir clubs, as well as conducts basketball and indoor and outdoor soccer matches. The school is a part of Indianapolis Public Schools, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
