Ever been picked up and then hung up on before you say word one? If you haven't this amatuer will definately facilitate that for you. A coupon hardly makes up for his utter lack of professionalism and common courtesy and actually feels like covering up his short comings.
This place is a freaking McDojo! I have visited here on multiple occasions. My first visits have been BEFORE I knew ANY martial arts. What I have seen from there is their emphasis on winning tournaments (typical in America). I trained in various martial arts for a total of 4 years, and came back to visit after the UKKS/Guardian Angels partnership. I seen the classes, and am appalled by the fact that the students have to fill out papers saying they practiced techniques as they go. What also appalled me was the fact that they are still tournament-oriented (which takes away from the original self-defense essence of martial arts). I then went into the head instructor's office (to inquire about classes) and he told me that I have to sign a contract! (There is absolutely NO reason for this; they are clearly in this for MONEY!) Don't waste your time; go to another dojo.
