The newly renovated office looks nice. Other than that nothing positive to say. They are supposed to run eligibility for my son's insurance before they even have you come in and they failed to do so, resulting in me wasting my entire morning for nothing. They should have let me know ahead of time that something was wrong with his coverage so I wouldn't have even wasted my time coming to the appointment. So now my kid still has no glasses and I lost out on time at work.

Sold me some glasses and the frame is no good . name brand fakes. I have had to glue the frame 5 times.
I of course love the selection of glasses, I had plenty to choose from with numerous styles. What really wowed me was the staff. They made me feel so welcome and honestly were hilarious. I had fun at my appointment. I am on my way to pick up my prescription now and am so excited!
I am a former customer of this venue...have purchased a few pair of frames and glasses from them. I was shocked at the treatment I received recently from Dr. Anderson as a result of having to return a pair of glasses I could not see well out of. (On the 30th day of which you are guaranteed to get your money back if you are not satisfied) I explained to the assistant I still wanted to do business with them but was told Dr. Anderson would only give me a credit. He would not allow me to get new lens. He was very unprofessional when I walked in...greeted other customers but ignored me. I called to speak to him afterwards and was told he would call me back. I still have not gotten a call. Very unpleasant experience.
Just posted this on my Facebook page and want to get the word out to locals. I took a shot in the dark going to Sears Optical because I really couldn't find *any* good reviews on any eyeglass place. I'm so glad I went here!Anybody who needs glasses should see Dr. Canida at Sears Optical in Castleton Mall.Best experience buying glasses ever. He did an awesome job with the test, and even did one test twice just to be sure his results were acurate. He was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. He went way above and beyond.The staff didn't try to pressure me in to anything, I told them what I wanted and they placed the order.The glasses, which are perfect, took less than a week to come in. When I tried them on I told her they felt good. She asked if she could try adjusting them because she thought she could make them more comfortable. She did! She went way above and beyond.I'm writing this because I spent a week trying to decide where to go. I've had bad experiences with glasses in the past. I found nothing but bad reviews everywhere on everybody. I know where I will be going from now on!
Wonderful doctor and staff! Very patient and knowledgeable. Took son for eye exam and issues. They explained everything to him in detail and were very patient with all of his concerns.

I only am rating this one star because it wouldn't let me rate it with zero stars. The optical staff is clueless when it comes to HIPPA and obtaining and retaining your personal information. They wanted to keep a copy of my driver's license which I refused to give them and they also refused to release information regarding my son's prescription (which I paid for!) They seem to have all started working for the company that day because obviously they had minimal, if any, training. I too called the customer service number and they were just as clueless. I would steer as far away as I could from this "so called" vision center...unless you are looking for a chaotic experience with a clueless staff.
