We were very pleased with the service we received.Everything was handled at both ends of the process, very professionally from our first meeting with Travis to get a bid, through our move coordinator Kyra and finally the move itself with driver Terence and his team and Manager John who handled the packing as they were short staffed. Horrible experience. They moved us to another state but subcontracted another local moving company. That moving company, it turns out, only hires day laborers and don't do background checks on their workers. A firearm and other valuables were stolen by one or several of the workers. Allied did nothing to try and resolve this issue.
This company was recommended by a coworker and we thought we were helping them get established as a new business. They did not have a contract for us to sign (should have been our sign to run!) and damaged every single item of our furniture because it was not properly wrapped and then crammed into a too-small truck for our size of move. Damaged the walls of both the old and new houses. Pieces of one broken item were left strewn across our new living room floor and no one alerted my husband to the damage. (It's all VERY visible - there's no way they didn't notice.) Offered cheapy replacements for the worst two broken pieces, not comparable items. Back and forth for almost three months about how much the repairs should cost. They refuse to share references for their repair guy, or his last name, for that matter. Of course his estimate was much lower than the two independent estimates we obtained (and shared contact info with them should they care to contact them directly). Pay more, use someone else, and save yourself the grief!!!!

DON'T HIRE. They do not perform background checks on the men working for them. They hired day laborers and pay them in cash. Items came up missing after they had left.

Stay away from this company! Should have read the YELP, Google and BBB reviews on All My Sons prior to booking as the reviews are all terrible. I was trying to support a local company but lesson learned. Details below. They gave me a 2 hour window on when they would show up, 11am - 1pm. They didn't show up until 4:45pm. I called to several times throughout the day and the dispatcher assured me they were only 45 minutes to an hour away each time I called. This dragged on all day and not only killed my day but the people that I was coordinating the move with.After waiting all day, they ended up overcharging me by over $100. The individual who quoted me over the phone said there was a 2hr minimum at $109 per hour. Then there would be a 12% fuel charge on the total bill of $218. I ended up getting charged $370 for using these guys for about 45 minutes. That includes the pick-up and delivery of my item. Their explanation was they tacked on a trip charge, which they never told me about. I hired this local company and we moved 1 item 7.3 miles and it was $370. It was supposed to be around $250 which was inline with all other quotes I received. The operations manager said there was nothing he could do to refund the overcharge so I am disputing this with my credit card company. In an unbelievable coincidence, when I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge, the customer service rep said she had the same experience with this exact company. Hard to believe, I know, but she was laughing when we were looking at the transaction and explained what happened to her and how All My Sons overcharged her by $400! Guess I got off easy with these guys.
Movers damaged my walls. Multiple walls, multiple holes, multiple scrapes....need new drywall. The company has not responded to my emails or my FB message. I will not be paying for the damage that was done by this company...they will!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! In addition to damaging our walls, we believe the movers stole items from our garage as they were moving my mother out of our house. Five people can verify items that were in our garage the day before the movers came and after the movers left those items were gone and are still gone.
