Due to my vehicle needing major repair, we have been taking time to decide if we want to repair or replace. For this reason we have been renting from Enterprise at least once a month. My mother-in-law has stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to her liver & lungs. She is having chemotherapy at IU Cancer Center (downtown Indy) every three (3) weeks. I have been & continue to be the person who makes sure all of her appointments are scheduled & her transportation arrangements made. She lives in Wabash, Indiana...my husband & I live on the far NE side of Indy (close to the Geist/Fishers area), she sees her oncologist & has treatments in downtown Indy. During the past months that I have been a customer at "my" Enterprise, the staff there have become aware of the reason I need the rental car. Everyone has been so professional & yet at the same time personal with me. They empathize with the situation I'm currently in & understand how important it is that the scheduling, timing & coordination of everything is; they know that how they execute their part has a very direct & vital impact on the success or failure of that specific day/weekend. All of the staff at "my" Enterprise, from the person who takes my call, the person who comes to pick me up, the person at the office reviewing the agreement with me as well as reviewing the features/functions of the vehicle I will be using....ALL OF THE STAFF ARE ALWAYS GREAT!!!!! To everyone: Thank You for making a difficult, challenging time easier, better & less complicated...You Are All THE BEST!!!!!!
I use Enterprise at least twice a year and for a lengthy time...i always use enterprise due to loyality, but am thinking of looking around.... we fly into indianapolis airport and the extra charges to rent the car there is about an exter 200$...that is stupid....this last time i rented for almost a month an it cost me almost 900.00..... yes there was a large selection of cars....also the car was clean and full of gas...but i did have a problem with a leaking air tire...i called them and only solution was to take back to air port or the martinsville enterprise....i took to martinsville and that was fine cuz i have rented from them several times....their solution was to either exchange, but they had no cars to do that or i could get one from bloomington which i would have to drive there to get cuz they didnt have a driver....i ask about getting the tire looked at...they called dealership next to them...i took there and they said would be out in 30 - 45 min....well after an hour......
Picking up at the airport was easy & straightforward. Staff at the counter in the airport were courteous & knowledgeable. Upon leaving the counter to go pick up the car we were quickly greeted by staff & escorted to the car. Also a nice welcome to be offered cold bottles of water for our journey. The staff member who escorted us to the car was not only personable but also very knowledgeable about the vehicles & made a recommendation for which options may suite us best. (He was right too!) Upon returning the car the process is simple & streamlined. Definitely welcomed this because an accident on the way there created lots of traffic & we had to rush to catch our flight. Staff that greeted us upon dropping off the car were courteous & asked about our feedback on the rental car & our trip. They explained all of our charges & we were on our way. Even asked if there was any trash that they could throw out for us. Overall, it was a great experience & would keep renting from them again.
Didn't have the vehicle I reserved so gave me an equivalent...I guess. I don't rent often but Sirius has always been free and I don't recall seeing it when reserving online or when I checked in at the counter...it wasn't on the sales agreement either. This time on return the receipt had $37 for Sirius. I just emailed Enterprise to see if they credit my card. It worked partially for the first three days and we called and the girl was able to reset it and we got the complete Sirius channels. Baleigh and Kenyatta both are wonderful. Baleigh at the counter and Kenyatta who gets you to your vehicle. Thanks, ladies. The vehicle not the Jeep Renegade but a Nissan Rogue worked flawlessly during our 2300 mile, 9 day trip. What I really like about Enterprise is the service...fast at checkin and fast at return. What I don't like about this location and any airport location are the extra fees. FIVE taxes and fees that off airport locations don't charge.
Rented a Standard vehicle in Indianapolis last week. They were out of the standards, so they bumped me up to a SUV at no cost. Picked up the SUV in a parking structure (poor lighting) and it had just been washed and was dripping wet. I quickly checked the vehicle for any obvious damage, but the passage side was a little close to another parked car and it was all wet so I simply glanced at that side from the rear. Did not see any damage from that condition. When I returned the SUV the next day, they pointed out a long dent along the lower passenger side. My heart dropped. I contacted Enterprise and they researched their records and found that the SUV had a prior claim on that damage and it was not my responsibility. Thank you Enterprise for being honest and reliable.
On 8/18/16, I booked a reservation online for a full-size (Nissan Altima or equivalent) vehicle. Upon arriving and checking in I was sent out to the garage to pick up my vehicle. As has been my "luck" with all the rental companies at IND they did not have the vehicle (Altima) I was hoping for BUT this time they didn't have any "equivalents" to offer me a choice of either. So I was steered toward a Chrysler 200 by a very convincing rep and sent on my way. I happened to check the website and found that the vehicle I had been given was from a lower cost category, nothing had been mentioned so I made a point to speak with a rep when I returned the car. They checked into it and adjusted the charge on my credit card right away.
When I arrived at the Indianapolis Intl Airport I already had a reservation with one of the other car rental companies. I thought this experience would be quick and easy but of course it didn't work that way. The representative at this other companies counter was pleasant but didn't give much help so after spending 30 minutes waiting I decided to go down to Enterprise to find out if they could help me out. Basically, I was at the Enterprise counter for no more than 10 minutes and I was done and had a car ready to go. The representative at the counter and in the parking garage were so polite and so helpful. I will never use another company again. Thank you Enterprise for getting me out of the airport so quickly.
Little bit of a glitch at the start - I thought Enterprise was like some of the others that a preferred renter with a reservation could go directly to the pickup - not the case. Had to go back inside the terminal, stand in line while the 2-guys at the counter spent way to much time trying to up-sell the renters in front of me on coverage's, higher priced vehicles, etc. Once I did get finished at the counter and went back to the parking area, Ryan Hunt took over and saved this rating which would have been a 1. Ryan was personable, professional and got us into the vehicle quickly. Kudos to Ryan for quickly reading and understanding his customers and taking good care of them.
my only disappointment in my most recent rental was that I had asked for a luxury car, one was ready, the counter agent said I could upgrade to a Cadillac for a couple of dollars more. I said ok, but then thought maybe I should ask what a couple of dollars more really meant. it turn out it would have added $20/day to my existing reservation. i found the agent to be very disengenous and stayed with my existing plan. we were also surprised that no one there could tell us about airport hotels and had no maps. i will stay an enterprise customer but felt things could have been more professional from your staff at that location.
In my experience with Hertz it seems there has been several issues but today Ben at the Castleton Location was extremely helpful! You could tell he took his job seriously and was very professional and patient. He made calls, pulled files, and did what was needed to find the information needed. If I use Hertz again I would go through Ben if possible. He is a all-star employee and I appreciate his excellent costumer service. Ben's service was far and beyond any service I have received through Hertz. Thank you Ben, you rock!
