I have had work equipment and music gear repaired by these guys in the past. They do great work at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend.
I first would like to say how wonderful James is. That young man took the time to get things right. He is an awesome young man. Very knowledgeable and professional. He explain what he was doing and things I need to take care of to make the process go smoothly. He really knows his stuff. Ms.Lisa also made the process a lot easier. My experience in this store at 11:00 a.m. on June 9 2017 with a scheduled appointment was absolutely deplorable and the worst I have ever received anywhere, my only regret was I didn't get a name. He essentially told me, he couldn't help, didn't know what to tell me and indicated he had no interest whatsoever in answering any questions and then in a very arrogant dismissive way said to me " have a nice day".
I've always gotten very excellent service at Best Buy. They've been very helpful and friendly anytime I have visited the store. The Geek Squad is one of the best.
They have some great prices on a lot of top name items. I really liked the selection of gaming items and tablets. You should check this place out before you go to a big chain store.
This place shouldn't even be in business. The people they have working have no clue what they are doing.
I went to get my iPhone 4 battery replaced. Being only 2 years old, the Verizon people told me, "It shouldn't be dead but hopefully if you change the battery that will fix it and you won't be out money. Good luck!" Most places won't sell you the battery these days, without also charging you for the installation. Indy Electronix charged $35 for the battery with installation, whereas Batteries Plus quoted me at $60; a Greenwood electronics repair quoted me $30. The battery was in stock, I went in and was out within 5 minutes.The repairman was pleasant, knowledgable, and even gave me some advice on my Asus tablet which hasn't turned on in a year. (Indy Electronix doesn't really work with any products outside of Apple, but he did offer to look at it and see if changing the charging port did anything; that would have cost $30. When I asked if there was any place that would be better, he recommended CPR Cell Phone Repair in Avon.)
They replaced the hard drive on my computer, sold me an external hard drive they said they needed to back up my data, and the Geek Squad service for a year. By the time they finished, it was more than half the price to buy a new one. I asked the Geek Squad if it would be better to buy a new once since mine is old, but he said no. I guess each department wants to make their money and does not care to help their customer make an informed decision. On top of that, the Office program on the computer of course could not be reinstalled and they do not sell the version I need, so more money to spend. One Geek Squad online guy recommended an Office version that does not work with my operating system. The discount the manager said he would give me for poor service off a new computer was a smokescreen. When I picked out a couple possible computers, both were already "employee pricing" and they could not apply a discount. I left and will never be back to a Best Buy again.

What a HORRIBLE experience. I hired Joe's company, Advanced Residential & Commercial Electronics in September 2012. After demanding 70% PAID UP FRONT, Joe and his team continued to delay, making excuse after excuse. When he finally did something, they damaged my expense home in the process and denied responsibility. To take the cake, I was then invoiced the final 30% and more, including several items that had not been installed. Joe, the owner, made multiple threats and generally acted like a thug, while finally admitting to billing for items not installed. He tried to issue credit memos, but then proceeded to make up "new charges."Overall, it would likely rank as the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE in recent memory. If someone had only warned me, I would not have lost so much sleep and been subjected to threats from this company's owner. I encourage you to STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
