The people here were courteous and answered all my questions. John was very helpful with information for me in the future with my car as well. Greg Hauk (Tint Master) took on a very complex tint job for me on my 99 Camaro SS. I am impressed and very satisfied with the outcome.
This con artist is the felon that was part of asylum autowerks that ripped people off of thousands of dollars then disappear. YP should do a better job vetting those scammers
Very friendly , both had hooked me up . I would recommend to everyone .. I got the best u guys rock
I went to this location today and the guy that hooked up my stereo was super nice. He didn't try to upsell me with stuff I didn't want or need. He had my car ready when he told me it would be ready. Finally, he fixed my remote starter device on my windshield which kept falling down. I thought that was really nice because I didn't ask- he just did it. More importantly the product that was installed works great. If you want superior service, bring your car here!
Rude customer service, unless your a celebrity
I had the worst first time experience with Waxwerks 6816 82nd St, Indianapolis… Starting from the beginning, I drop my car off on a Saturday morning to get the interior detailed. I did not hear from Waxwerks that entire day on my vehicle. So, not knowing I was under the impression they must have been busy. Fast forwarding to Monday I call because I still had not heard from them by 1pm. The guy who works the front desk answers, and he is not sure if my truck is done that they had since Saturday. Finally he gets back on the phone, and tells me that it’s done and was done on Saturday. He goes on to say, we called and left a message. I respond you did not call my phone nor did you leave a message for me. He tells me he is absolutely sure he did, so I ask him my telephone number. The number that he gives me is not the number that I personally wrote down on their form. Then, I go and pick up my truck only to find that there are still chips, crumbs and food still on my seats where the seatbelts are… I left up my seat and the carpet still had crumbs on the floor. At that point, I am trying to figure out how they accomplished shampooing the carpet and there are still crumbs on the floor. I go back in and talk with the guy at the desk and he proceeds to tell me that they did their job, so I invite him to come take a look. He tells me to just pull it in to their bay and there is someone there that will be able to take care of it for me. After, getting almost the entire truck vacuumed again I get ready to leave. Then, I notice my gas tank is on empty. So, I ask about that and I am told that THEY LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE RUNNING WITH YOUR HEAT ON UNTIL THE INSIDE OF YOUR VEHICLE IS DRY. I go back in to the front desk and once again he proceeds to act as if it was something I did, he tells me that I didn’t have any gas in it when I dropped it off. He tells me that they had to put $5 in my truck to drive it out of their bay… So what he just told me was they left my truck running until it ran out of gas. Which, when I dropped my truck off my tank was above the quarter mark, but a little below the half mark. In light of my blood pressure rising, and the fact that I was on my lunch break from work I left.I would not recommend this place to anybody. The customer service is horrible and the quality of work is bad.Completely unprofessional and incompetent. Also, he proceeds to tell me about all the basketball stars who bring their cars to him.
Went and asked if they had openings to install an amp, she said yes, then asked if I had an amp already, then told me she actually didn't have openings to install. Money is money, shouldn't matter if I had an amp, they were still getting paid something rather than nothing.
Do not go to this place! They are horrible! I had a car starter installed. Not only did they install it wrong, it caused my car to fry our and stop working. It cost me over 600 to have it fixed and they wouldnt take care of it. They are the idiots that installed it wrong on my new car and then they have the nerve to not return phone calls and just brush you away. Brian the store manager is a complete waste of time. Do not buy anything from this place! You will be left with a horrible experience and also a hole in your pocket.
This place has A1 service. I arrived in town from college and simply walked in to see if someone could test my amp; wasn't coming on nor was my capacitor. They not only fixed my connection, they hid my wires under my carpet properly! The also fixed the last installer's mistakes with thorough explanation. Hands down, top in Indy! Best prices I've seen in Indy too.
I read a lot of bad reviews on the internet after I called Waxwerks and I was a bit worried about the work before picking up the vehicle. In my case the fears were not justified as I was very pleased with their work. I got a deal on a new Ford F150 that I couldn’t refuse, but the only options it came with were AC and automatic transmission. I wanted to upgrade to power windows, power locks, and keyless start, entry, and security so I called Waxworks. To my surprise they estimated the cost to be $1140 for the whole job including sales tax (the guy I worked with was Brian B.). I took the truck in late on Thursday and had it back on Saturday afternoon. The installation was very tight, switches were higher quality than I expected and were straight and centered on the panels, the cab was very clean when I picked it up, the manuals were sitting on the center arm rest, and nothing was missing from the vehicle. Brian took me outside and explained everything to me and showed me how everything worked. The price was the same as the estimate and they did not raise it when I got there, both remotes came with the unit as advertised. I asked Brian about the bad reviews and he did not BS his way out of it. He did say however that Waxwerks has changed ownership and they are trying to build the business back up and take care of old complaints. BTW, I am NOT a relative, friend, lover, or whatever of anyone at Waxworks.
