If you are looking for a place that intentionally messes your hair up look no futher. Tiffany is horrible, she gives people uneven hair cuts and bad color. I witnessed one of her clients take the scissors from her and proceed to cut her own hair. She will leave you sitting for extended periods with color over processing while she talks to her friends with no concern for the damage she is causing to your hair. She will and has caused permanent hair loss and damage to clients hair on purpose. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Zero stars
Shaunte does a good job when she pays attention to the customer, the problem is she doesn't pay attention as she is too busy talking to the other stylist's and doesn't hear a word you say. She didn't hear one word I told her about my hair and did the exact opposite of everything I had said. It's been months and my hair is still too short.
I have been seeing Shaunte for several months now. My hair is difficult and requires extreme maintenance. Shaunte is the only one I trust in the KC Metro to do the job. I drive 45minutes to see her at Bloom. I've never had a bad experience. Shaunte and the rest of the staff are absolutely professional and wonderfully talented
My stylist was Cindy. I went in to get something different for hair that I have worn long and curly for years. I even took in photos to give her some ideas. I ended with the worst looking "mom" cut ever. She gave me a Dorothy Hamill bowl cut except with no bangs. I did want to go shorter, but I wanted something stylish. Not a mom bowl cut. And when I let it go curly, it just looks like a poofy, curly bowl cut. No style to this hair cut at all and nothing like the pictures I showed her. She said if I didn't like it to come back in, but the only solution would be to go shorter and I don't want to do that.
This business is top notch. All the hairstylists ensure they get the quality of the hairstyle that your looking for . They all maintain conversations with you to ensure your enjoying your time with them, they also do spa treatments like toenails and nails. I believe they have hot rocks as well. Overall I will always come back to this hair salon:-)
Paige did a great job on my first haircut with her. I was a little apprehensive at first as she was young, but she did a great job and I will go there again for future haircuts.
I went to this salon because my daughter had had a good experience. I did not! My appointment was with Elizabeth Francis. I requested full color, basically matching the color I already had on my hair, but wanting to cover the gray & freshen up the color. Elizabeth brought out the color swatches and we agreed on a brown with reddish tones. She applied the color and when it was rinsed off and she started blow drying it, I realized it was very light, almost strawberry blond. I was not happy. Elizabeth seemed to be fine with it &n really talked how it look so nice. I told her it was not at all what I wanted or what we had agreed on. She stood there perplexed and then decided to apply another color. I believe she called it a color gloss, which is not permanent, but was supposed to darken the color, which it did. She couldn't really say how it would look when it fades out. She then had the audacity to say, "I won't charge you for the color gloss", like she was doing me a favor for trying to correct the mistake she made??!! Then, as she blow dried this, she did exactly what I told her I did not like done with my hair. I have very, very straight hair with bangs. I told her that I always take the flat iron and do a little curve to my bangs so they aren't just flat. I can't really speak to the other stylists, but there was no greeting when I walked in the salon, until I stood there for a few seconds and finally someone asked if they could help me. Elizabeth was doing nails on another customer, but never looked up or spoke up. She was late finishing up with her nail customer and I had to wait for approximately 10 minutes. It took her a ridiculously long time to do my hair.....I was there from 2:45 to 5:50. Bottom line is.....do not waste your time, here. I had to buy some boxed color and try to correct my hair color, myself, when I got home!
Very very pleased with my cut and color. Tammy did a wonderful job. Everyone is so down to earth and very friendly. Makes you feel like one of the family.
I have had my hair done there twice. I liked my haircut there the first time but the stylist could not duplicate it on my next visit. Very disappointed with the second hair cut. I noticed again on the second visit that this shop is dirty - hair spray can laying on the floor on it's side, hair all over the floor, splattered hair color on the wall at each station, rolling tray with stylist's tools a real mess with hair on everything, generally dirty. The owner was flitting around the shop messing with her I-phone, yakking to everyone and not paying attention to her business. On each visit when I arrived, no one appeared to be there - no receptionist visible and no stylist's anywhere. I heard them talking in the back and had to go look for them. I won't go back. They need to get their act together.
My boyfriend went to get a hair cut at this location today August 8th, 2013. He is severely displeased with the lack of professionalism and communication skills provided by his hair dresser. He was given a fauxhawk when he specifically asked for a "short spike". Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe these hair styles are completely different. He now has to show up to his FIRST DAY OF WORK IN A FAUXHAWK. To top it off, he still had to pay $15 even after expressing his dissatisfaction, and was threatened to have the police arrive on site. This is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS! We will no longer be attending ANY Snip N' Clip salons.
