Alexis is unprofessional. She went to a competitor's Yelp page and posted a negative comment and rating.Someone who knows they have a good product does not need to bash their competitor.I am not in retail. I'm the mom of a teen who has been in your store. Quite honestly the selection is not all that great. I don't think we've bought anything from your store. (I have purchased from other, larger, cleaner Famous Footwear stores)Alexis should remove her negative post because it makes you guys look so childish. Until it's removed, I will not ever be back in that store and let everyone I know in Independence and Lee's Summit how unprofessional your employees are.She needs to be talked to about how her public actions affect Famous Footwear.Come to think of it, I think I'm going to take a screenshot of her post on the competitor's site and your site and send it to corporate.
Ms. Alexis works for a competitor. Not shocked she rated it low.I am not a competitor, I'm not in retail I'm a mom and this is the first store my teen daughter wants to check before we go anywhere else. Most of the time, this is our only stop. She has pretty large feet, so many times we have to order her correct size, shipping is free, and it takes no more than 1.5 days to arrive.Absolutely every single time I go in the store I am greeted personally. They make eye contact when they greet me and my daughter. There's always somebody around to answer my question and they don't pester me to upsale.
Absolute worst customer service ever... Don't greet you, don't help you, funny thing is I work in retail shoe store myself and it's no wonder we have customers coming to us rather than shoe carnival...
Always have the best customer service, the manager Chris is super kind and can help you find what you're looking for or a recommendation of something else that might work. I always find the shoes I'm looking for and the staff is super!
I could not find what I was looking for and the manager - at least he appeared to be the manager - saw me, but plainly ignored me and instead went to talk to any customer he could find on the opposite side of the store. He had time to chat with customers who were not even trying to get help instead of offering me any assistance. When I started making my way across the store to him, he hurried to the front to ring up some girls who flirted with him. I finally flagged down a clerk coming out of the back and she was able to help me. I don't know if he is an idiot, they're understaffed or a combination, but I will not be going back to this store. Order online or go to another location is my advice.
The employees were really helpful and knew what they were talking about. I love my Red Wing boots!
