Life Changing

After taking my son to a number of Podiatrists we had all but given up on finding a solution. A friend suggested Dr. McCall and we quickly made an appointment. I walked into the appointment thinking this was our last chance for my son. After a very thorough initial visit, he informed us that surgery was an option and that it would indeed be life changing for my son. My son was not as excited about the surgery and Dr. McCall was patient and supportive of his decision to not have a surgery. It was about a month after our first visit that my son decided he wanted the surgery, Dr. McCall was able to get him in quickly. The surgery was a huge success as was the 2 following surgeries. The results have been life changing for him. He would go through a pair of shoes about every 3-6 weeks and now he has had the same shoes for over 6 months. He is no longer in constant pain and looks forward to being able to play football in the future. He never would have had the ability to be able hunt, hike, or any other physical activity if not for Dr. McCall. Besides the incredible medical care, Dr McCall and his staff are friendly and genuine!! I will always be grateful to them for giving my son a chance to walk and be active. Thanks for changing his life.

After being referred to Dr. McCall by a friend, I called for an appointment. I met with Dr. McCall. He told me of my options. I decided on surgery as my ankle was in very bad shape. After the surgery, he and his staff guided me through the recovery period. Today I have a foot and ankle that looks and functions like new. I will be forever thankful to Dr. McCall and his staff for their excellent care and concern.

Thank You for correcting my otherwise ruined ankle

I broke my ankle on Sept 28 and was recommended to Dr Redd to have him meet my needs. I was unable to get into him until Oct 2. He took the cast exray from the hospital and cast my foot. It showed that I had a break on the fibula and tibula around the ankle. He didn't take any other exrays and the 4 days that it was in a splint I bore weight on it not being told any different. 2 days after the cast was on my daugther insisted that I get an exray to make sure that the break was still in place. I had a rod in my tibula from a separate break that had screws in the way to put an appliance on the tibula brerak. after 5 weeks of no weigfht bearing I went in to have the cast removed, I asked if they were going to exray it because it was popping alot just when I would lay my leg on its side. They took no exrays and told me it could continue to hurt for a month but just walk on it and it would be fine. For two weeks I walked on it called and got a refill for pain meds and called and asked if maybe I was suppose to do therapy on it. I was told I would get a call back two different times and didn't. Everyone told me it should be feeling better, but it was feeling worse than when I broke it so I decided to go to a different dr. I contacted Dr McCall who takes care of my neuropathy needs. He told me to stay off of it and scheduled a CT scan. He found that I had three breaks and the one that was not apparent in regular exrauys on the back of the tibula was healing but the other two were healing way wrong. He scheduled surgery. He put a plate on the fibula that required 8 screws and one on the tibula that required 3 screws. He had to remove one of the screws from the rod to make room, for the new plate. I have been off my foot now riding around on a knee cart so I can be mobile. My diebetes has hindered healing but it is finally getting better. The ankle is now where it belongs instead of being rotated to the point that my inside ankle bone was almost on the ground. If I had not gone to see Dr McCall and had the poor practice of the other dr correctred, I would have a destroyed ankle within a year and fusion would have been the next alternative. Thank you Dr McCall. I will forever be grateful that you were there when I needed a competent Dr.
