I needed a tiller for a surprise batch of free sod and called to reserve a tiller for the weekend. they told me to pick it up as close to 3pm as possible to get the weekend rental price. I let them know that it was urgent and that I would be there at 2:30 to pick up the tiller. after a 45 minute drive I arrived at their business at 2:20 and it was deserted. they had closed shop early! I had given them my phone number but I never received a call from them I tried calling several times but never got an answer. Because of this lack of customer service I lost half of my sod and a good chunk of my day. 0 stars!

I would have put 0 stars if it had let me. I say you can have a good experience anywhere if you are helped by the right person. The employees seemed very nice and professional, if not completely knowledgeable. However, after I waited to be helped for a good 30 minutes to ask questions on some costumes I wanted to rent because the girl who needed to help me was apparently the only one who could answer the phone and answer questions to others who came into the shop. I finally got my turn. It was just before closing at this time and I could tell the girl was in a hurry to get out of there. The costumes were more than I really wanted to pay to rent, especially one of them, but the girl told me, and I quote, "If you change your mind, we can just refund it, it's not a big deal." So I said, okay let's go ahead and put it on hold then and I will talk with my husband about it and get back to you. When a called later to go ahead and cancel the one costume because I found something way cheaper I got the owner, Alan, who was VERY RUDE and unprofessional and actually brought me to tears and had me arguing with him, which I never do. He would not honor what his employee said and did not seem to care one tic whether he would lose a customer over the situation. He even mentioned to me that he has had problems in the past with customers not having equipment working when they rent it, but that there is nothing he can do about it and that he can never refund money. Awesome business policy, right? I am surprised this guy is still in business. Needless, to say, I will NEVER be renting there again, and I strongly recommend that you do not either!
