One of the only places in Columbus to take old carpeting! Yay for the them! IMPORTANT NOTE - The building is NOT clearly marked - they are located off of Fisher Rd and the address on the front of the building is 2662, 2664 is on the backside. Also, found out as it was being dropped off that they charge a $20 drop-off fee. Wouldn't have been a problem is this was known ahead of time. It doesn't state that anywhere on the sites that I reviewed. That being said, might be a good idea to call the before you go. Kudos again to them for doing the right thing by helping to reduce what goes into our waste stream.
So on Friday a friend wrecked the left side of my 2002 Camry and it needed $2,500 worth of repair work (which I wasn't going to pay). I call Columbus Cash for Car and sold it for scrap for 150 bucks. Take my advice and keep full coverage insurance!
RecycleForce Columbus is a great place to take all of your unwanted e-waste - electronic waste - small appliances - cell phones - printers - computers and more! Please be sure to call them to find out what types of electronic waste they accept!
Pretty simple process. Received price quote for old Buick Century over the phone. They sent a truck to tow it away 2 hours later or so. (didn't get much cash for the car-- but it is gone)
I have not had a problem with Rumpke except they only take the trash can and never a large idem and there price has went up over the past two years quite a bit.
They were out to pick up my 99 Alero in under two hours. The scrap price seemed a bit low to me, but not overly familiar with that biz
Great service dropped off my old computer junk at the Morse Rd. location and got paid
