This is justva rew examples the nurses were rude to boot. Do not go there unless u have no choice.
I came with my grandmother for an appt. she made a mistake in the scheduling and instead of Alma being friendly about it she was extremely irritated about it. everyone makes mistakes, right? them when my g-ma asked if she needed to fill out paperwork Alma said ""hold on, I can't do 3 things at o…
If you are an out of town patient, don't bother with this facility. They make you come up to 4 times in office prior to surgery even if hotel and flights are needed each time. After my several trips in, Dr. Geck then canceled my scheduled surgery 1 week before with no regard to the patient conse…
My good friend was just sent home from Cornerstone. We were vey happy with the care he recieved there. The staff was busy, but always made time for us. The DON and Administrator visited with him to make sure everything was going ok. If i ever needed to be in a hospital for a long time, I wo…

I truly do not know why this hospital has bad reviews. The facility was amazing, as was the nurses and doctors. They saved my life and I could not ask for a better place to be if you have to be in a hospital.
The physicians and staff at this clinic are not professional or empathetic or caring or understanding. The office manager at this Clinic is very unqualified to run a medical clinic. The front office staff eats bowls of cereal in front of the patients in the waiting area and all of them talk loudly about their parties from the weekend. The nurses are very hateful and I have heard them and the Doctors talk about patients medical conditions and laugh about it. Very poor Clinic.
I had my Pteregium removal and graft done in their OR/Surgery section with my Eye Doctor. Days before the surgery RNs called me a got all the pertinent information about me and my insurances. Well, that's the most important part of the calls. How are you gonna pay this hospital :). Then time came where I had to ask the time of my surgery... Guess what? These RNs don't freakin know. One of em tried to give me a number to call back. One of em transfer my call to another dept where she can't give me a tentative time. Then another one said.. most patient showed up here at 8 am... What kind of crap is this? Their excuse was.... well Doctor's schedules changes all the time so we have to give u a number to call the afternoon before your surgery... Wooow... you call this professional environment. Then what matter worst is that... I've never given any instructions about not taking any foods or drinks the day of the surgery. I had to argue inside the prep room about all of these. They have to confirm with my Dr that it's still ok to proceed. Procedure was done very well. The only complain i had was for us to drive to his clinic for contact lens right after surgery. My driver was not really familiar in Austin and I have to give direction while am still drugged with painful left eye. SCREWED-UP!!!!1 star for scheduling surgery1 star for the first rude RN named Sharon5 stars for the 2nd RN who prepd me4 stars for the procedure itself. had to take 1 for the lens1 star for 3 RNs who called me1 star for the RN who followed up on me.Would I recommend this OR/Surgical unit? If you have a V good doctor then yes.If you don't know your doctor then... Hell NO!
Nursing staff consistently unable to get accurate results from automated vital signs machine and clueless as to how to take vital signs without machines. Several wrong medications offered and nursing staff reacted badly to being asked to recheck orders when they did make errors. Consistently did not listen to concerns about inappropriate medications and treatments. Medical staff only slightly better. Discharge referrals inappropriate. Food by Luby's and diet not coordinated with treatment. Poor medicine and unpleasant staff.
worst experience ever with staff I've lived here since 1999 was rushed by ambulance on 05/09/2014 could have died I have great insurance they lost or stole my jewelry and some of it being my mothers before she passed away a couple of yrs. ago but they want to have attitudes with me and be rude to me for their screw up. The person that says she is the head person over the ER as well as the person that is the head person over security says that there is no cameras in icu and that their other security cameras are not very visual either. There is no report of what they took off of me I know what I had on when you have a caring parent that gives you something you cherish it I wore it everyday the only thing I had of hers and now they have made me loose her all over again!!!!! Wish I could give them less than 1 star much more happened!!!!

After dealing with him and his staff, I will not be rescheduling with him!
