There is always not enough help. There be one person to wait on all the customers while there are people just standing around. Also portion size are ridiculous. Not enough for your money.
never. I tried to order a cake from them, I wanted one similar to the one on THEIR facebook page. They told me I needed to come in with a picture. When I said to her I work across town and need it for Saturday, she said, "sorry I cannot help you". I really dislike businesses that think so much of themselves they believe that customer service is not necessary.
The owners have a sign with their hours which they never follow. The team members & patients depend on this Deli since this it the only way to eat while at work unless you bring your lunch. It's gotten so bad some days they don't even show up at all. The customer service could sure use some definantly improvements.
NEVER EVER SPEND YOUR MONEY OR EAT AT DEVINO'S DELI LOCATED ON 104 WEST MAIN STREET IN LOUISVILLE KY. The service I experienced was horrible, and they really don’t have good MORAL OR ETHICAL standings as a business, Wednesday Night (04/02/14) while trying to support local talent at Prime Lounge ( which is located next door), I decide to grab a bite to eat. Seeing plenty of people getting their food from the restaurant I placed my order in hopes of receiving my food in a prompt amount of time. After waiting 30 minutes for food, that I never seen come to the table I waited a little longer. Still no sign of my FOOD. Door closes on their side of the restaurant, I’m still waiting. I get up out of my seat to walk over to the restaurant that has my food and their closed!!!!! Looking inside lights, music, everything was off. I knocked on the door to see the original employee who took my order, and asked can I get my money back? And what did he say, “FU we’re closed.”So now I’m hot!!!!! Not only am I starving, but because I’m a SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETER, I MISSED POTENTIAL CLIENTS THEAT WERE ON STAGE. Not only was this insulating to me but my BUSINESS ALSO. I’m heated and it feels like they were playing games. So I took it to the WORLD WIDE WEB. I feel as if, I give you money for a product, or service I expect a fair exchange. Not attitude because you don’t want to be there. That’s not my problem. Now you have another problem. I kept the #6 from the table that was placed for a reminder for the cook to bring the food. As a notification that I have an item of yours and I would like a Fair EXCHANGE for my MONEY I believe the REPUTATION OF THE COMPANY COMES FIRST. Since this is day 2 with no word of apology I’ll just make this post on numerous of websites ENJOY!!!
Went there on Saturday July 20th, ordered a ckn gyro, no tzk add hummus. And that is what I received. The hummus was like gruel. The white meat chicken was microwaved, dry and tasteless. I returned to let Chef Maria know how poor my experience was and she made the excuse that organic chicken is too expensive. She never apologized for the bad food, but she did tell me I should have brought it back to her. I would have except she was closed. So, I did the next best thing and went there to have a friendly discussion. Chef Maria never approached me during our conversation. She stood back by one of the refrigerators. She walked away from me, so I guessed the conversation was over. And I said I didn't think she was very interested in my comments. As I was walking out the door, she offered to make me another one. Sadly, I wait tables for a living. I also have a second job and work 7 days a week. It goes without saying I am choosy about where I spend my hard earned money. I will not be back again and I will spread the word about how poor my experiences have been.Chef Maria has deleted my comment on her Facebook page and has blocked me from posting on that page. Instead of using a very public forum to correct a situation, she had made it worse and fueled a fire.The Grape Leaf in Clifton, with all of it's inconsistencies, is still a far better bet than Chef Maria's Greek Deli.
