I was out of state when they put my debit card on hold again,without calling me! So while traveling home,I was stuck without knowing how much was left in my account for food or gas. I called home to have family transfer money so I coud safely write out a check and that evening the online system wouldn't process the transaction. In the morning, the online system still would not allow two family members to transfer funds! Thankfully since I was on the road, checks were accepted even though I told them they may be insufficent. I lost my job and never anticipated the banks response when I got back. They said it was my fault even though I had family members trying to cover and the bank wouldn't allow it. They allowed these checks to bounce continuously until $150-175 in fees and would not refund all of the charges due to their system being down and transfers not going through! I am working with money in the bank and I am still having problems with them as the system will not allow bill pay! When I called to ask why, they said bill pay customers have to be "approved" but could not tell me how or why! I have aso found most branches understaffed and extremely slow so I will look for another bank.
