Though they were close to closing with an mostly empty house the night before Thanksgiving, the lady was kind enough to let or family and another eat who came in about the same time. Food was great as always and our service was awesome. Yes, they push a cart with your raw food, all sit down hibachi do, that's part of the experience. Every time we've gone since we've moved to Huntsville, this resturant has been amazing. I've had steak, chicken, veggie and shrimp on the hibachi, and some stuff from the sushi bar. I've tried thier drinks, the Geshia is amazing. An all around great place. If you eat on the weekend, call ahead! Our visit on 11/23 ended a bit differently. When we were leaving and they were closing up, four people came bursting though and demanded to be seated. When the lady kindly explained they were closing early for the holiday, the jerks decided to yell and cuss out the poor employee lady. When exiting, one of the jerks decided to comment (rhetorically I assume) how crappy the people were. I replied with an affirmative of how crappy I thought these jerks had acted towards thier fellow human beings, on Thanksgiving Eve no less, and encouraged them to be decent humans and have a heart. Their response was, as expected, to get louder, more aggressive and abrasive, and proceed to cuss me out in front of my children who were with me, (ten, eight and two), and threaten my physical safety. We stayed in the resturant until they left for both our safety and that of the closing staff.I describe this in detail so that if they decide to post like they threatened too, the rest of the story is told. I applaud the staff for handling these people with kindness and calmness, you've won permant customers in us!
Bad service, rude servers, and food is cheap. I don't think I know of one positive thing from my visit. No hostess, also you are fighting with people to sit at a dirty table that you may sit at for 20 minutes before being acknowledged. Don't. Just don't go.
I tried this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing I will definitely come back. I recommend the hibachi steak especially, they have it absolutely correct on how they cook it I bet they have wupang pup's brother in the kitchen the service is great as well
Food was sub par, with very little chicken in the "hibachi chicken", and what was there was tough and chewy, and had no flavor or sauce of any kind. Only good thing was the fried rice - and for $13 you expect much better. Nothing was express about the service. They are going to have to improve a lot if they want repeat customers.
I lived in Japan for 2 yrs. and the sushi here was as good as any there. The Alabama roll was excellent.
This restaurant suffers from an unfortunate name. You expect fluorescent lights in a fast food motif, but it's really a wonderful place to eat with subdued lighting, good food, and great service. Edo's in Madison is the benchmark for fresh, wonderful Sushi and Japanese food, but I never feel disappointed if we choose I <heart> Sushi as a substitute when it is much closer for lunch. I have never had a bad experience here..
