Do not under any circumstance...

Do not under any circumstances get your appliances from any of the Valley Appliance stores. The owners, Tim Tyrka and his relatives Pete, Steve, Marty, will not respond to your emails when something goes wrong. They won't come to the phone. They won't keep their word. And they will over charge for the appliances. I purchased an entire home appliance 'package' from them, and they overcharged me, and after repeated attempts to get them to fix it, and take the extra charge off my credit account, then finally stalled long enough for them to then claim they were 'unable' to fix the over charge. They offered a 'rebate' instead, which was supposed to be a credit card sent to me with $1600 on it. I agreed. I have waited over 6 months for that to show up, I have emailed and phoned dozens of times to see if anyone would help me track down this supposed 'rebate' - all to no avail. I can't get anyone in the company to help me fix their blatant misrepresentation. I am going to have to sue to get the money back, and that is unfortunate. So please save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else for your appliances. Find a store that has some level of honor. I reported them the the BBB, and they just decided to ignore that, too. It's a shame no one wants to keep their word.

Dishonest, and horrible service

I bought an entire appliance package from these people. Was initially offered a good price for some high-end appliances. Then the delays started. Then the ignoring all attempts to communicate started. Then the lies started. After being unable to get the stove I ordered (which I did not blame them for - that kind of stuff happens) they left me hanging for over two months - THAT I blame them for. They eventually offered an inferior stove, but wanted me to pay the same price. I refused, and asked them to simply cancel. They told me I would have to pay a restocking fee - on items I'd been paying for for two months, but have never seen!!! They eventually agreed to lower my purchase price, and restart my no-interest financing period to the ship date of the appliances (nearly three months from the date I ordered and paid for them) but then they stopped returning calls or emails. They never fixed the financing. They never fixed the overcharge for the wrong stove. They never processed the 'rebates' I was supposed to get. They promised to get me $1600 back to make up for getting me the wrong stove and for rebates. I have never seen any of that money, even though it's been over 6 months. I have called and emailed repeatedly, and no one responds. I am going to have to sue. I complained to the BBB but they ignored it. Tim Tyrka, along with Steve, Marty, and Pete, are not men of their word. They will lie to your face, overcharge you, and never look back. Do yourself a favor and avoid this nightmare. Find your appliances elsewhere, and don't reward these people for being dishonorable and unprofessional.
