Kroger

I am new to the are and have only been using this Kroger for a couple weeks. The town I was in before had a Super Kroger, so I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't one nearby. However, I have had great experiences at this Kroger so far. The staff is very friendly. I've been impressed with how fresh the produce is. I haven't been asked for a hand out. I actually hope that does happen, because I would love the opportunity to buy a few extra groceries for someone in need.

I just came from there, three people asked if I was finding everything I was looking for. I have been going there for years and have never even seen anyone asking for A handout!

I have been using this store since 1984. I also have had the experience of needy people asking for assistance. But once I ask them to leave they do so. I have not been scared of this situation and I am 70 years old with bad knees. I can say I appreciate the staff and having this store so near downtown. I will continue as a happy old white woman customer of this Kroger facility..

I had the same experience recently when I took my elderly mom there for groceries. When we pulled up and before we could even get out of car homeless person came to my window and started knocking-scared me. I ask him to get away from my car-he acted angry and finally left. When I saw he was far away from my car we got out. Then while inside trying to shop a black young man started to approach me over on the makeup isle and I put up my hand and said stop-get away from me-he said why are you acting like this you don't know what I want. I said yes I do- you want money-so get away. He then said did someone tell you I am asking for money-I said no I'm not stupid. He finally backed away. I went to store security and told them about my first encounter and security said he would walk us to our car after we check out. I use to shop there regularly 8 or so yrs ago and it was nothing like that-never afraid. Now I cringe when I have to think about going there or the one on S Pkwy

Not customer friendly - staff does not say hello, may I help you. Parking lot is always dirty, carts and trash everywhere. Image of this store, is not good by others, say it is dirty, and scary, as homeless individuals go in and ask people for change and food. Please clean up image.
