My nephew and God-niece go there and they are truly awesome. they have been there for 3 years now and they have learned sign language and Spanish. They have the best attitudes and are so positive. They give the center a family feel because they are so loving and caring. I commend Mrs. Paulette because she has to deal with some very nasty and disrespectful parents some times but through it all she keeps a smile on her face. They are the best.
The staff is not professionally trained as stated on the website. I have seen staff yell at kids with their back turned to the kids and on their cell phone. I have seen staff when picking up my child on their cell phones and not paying attention to what the kids are doing. The number of children to teacher ratio is to big. I have seen where a teacher has 18 kids in the space that is made for 12 children. During the summer months older school age children are put in the classroom with the 5 year olds instead of a separate class. The teachers are not allowed to talk with parents about their child or how their child is doing in the class. I was told by a teacher they are not allowed to talk to parents that the person at the front desk has to talk with the parent about any issues with the child. The owner's are not around and they have let good teachers go.
My child has been attending ABJ CDC for a year and a half and we absolutely love it. The teachers are great and the staff are professional. They are a stickler for their policies, but that's only fair. I like how they work hard to keep the kids germ free and healthy with their daily routines. If you want great daycare service for your child(ren), take them to A Bundle of Joy and you won't be disappointed.
The administration at Bundle of Joy is very unprofessional. They tend to show favoritism but continuing to deviate from policy. There is a high turnover rate of teachers.
Overall a great school w/ great staff. Ms Carol and Ms. Netta are quite possibly the greatest members of a daycare staff we ever worked with. They're overall happy and sweet all the time to my son.
how do you have to be to get in their
