I give the Midas Muffler Shop on Leeman Ferry Rd a ZERO - Not a Disappointing Rating) for two reasons. First) I have a life time warranty Midas muffler on my car. The muffler has an external rust spot through several layers of the metal - BUT not yet all the way thru. The Assistant Mgr. told me the hole had to be all the through the muffler leaking the exhaust to the atmosphere before they will replace. 2) The floor of the shop is covered with grease, oil and other fluids and some areas have wet puddles of liquids. I have new Gray Mustang Front Floor Matts. Noting the amounts of oil and liquids on the floor, I asked the Assistant Mgr. to cover the drivers side floor matt with some paper before getting in the car to back off the lift. He did not and left a good size foot print of oil and grease on the floor matt. I called his attention to it he kind of shrugged and walked back into the office. Fortunately I found a dry clears that was willing to try and was able to remove most of the grease.
Mr. Mathis son Jeff replaced a convertible top on my car. When it developed a leak I went to Mathis Upholstery 5 times to find Jeff to get it fixed. Mr. Mathis took my name and number each time but I did not receive any calls back. On my final visit I told Mr. Mathis that if I did not get satisfaction I would contact an attorney, I came to find out that his son Jeff had been made to leave this shop and he opened a shop of his own. I was never given this information by Mr. Mathis until I threatened legal action. Jeff never received any of my messages. I contacted Jeff and within 2 days he had my car completely repaired. New to area - 2nd time to Yi's. Not "picky," just want a good haircut (men's) that lasts, and isn't a USMC high-and-tight. Yung (sp) is pretty meticulous - several times checking symmetry, uses scissors a lot, and asks before doing eyebrows. Price is on par with other shops. Figure another visit or two and I can just sit in the chair and say, "the usual." Can throw a rock, and hit University Dr., but shop not easy to see from street - just listen to the Google Babe, she'll get you there.
I was extremely pleased with the service I received at CBA. They went out of their way to make me comfortable with their service and what repairs they determined were necessary. Their goal is to do the right thing for the customer every time, which means only doing necessary repairs and not creating problems that don't exist in order to increase your bill. CBA definitely has proven that I can trust them to do me right, which is a huge blessing when it comes to auto repairs. I enthusiastically recommend CBA.
They had me in and out when I went to get my oil changed. Unfortunately they didn't tighten my oil filter and I leaked all of the oil out.
I've had a haircut from four of the barbers working in this shop and every one was done to perfection. I am hard to please, and most barbers at other shops can get it almost right some of the time. But the barbers at Huntsville Barber & Styling get it perfectly right every time.
I'm not gonna lie and pretend to be a customer, I am a stylist at this salon but I would like to clear up the review about the 5.99 cut. We have never had that sale, that wasn't us. More than likely it was Great Clips. I am not one to down another business but I do not want someone thinking this was us. Had a horrible experience there with my 81 year old mother. Will never go there again. The young girl cutting my mother's hair was rude, uncomprehending plain English, and insensitive. Good thing it was a cheap haircut because it was a waste of time & money.
Took my mom there because they were having a $5.99 haircut special and she is a senior (she's 80) and she insisted. Anyway, I heard my mom tell her about how she wanted it cut, but she wanted a layer cut shorter underneath so it would curl under. My mom said this to the girl several times but the girl kept telling my mom that if she wanted it blown out with a big brush it would cost extra. My mom got flustered when the girl started arguing with her and just said it's fin. It's fine. After listening to this I went over and the girl had barely even cut any off. I said, "Mom, are you sure, she only cut a fourth of an inch off, look down at the floor." (We had talked on the way there and she said she wanted about two and a half inches cut off, so I knew.) I was reluctant to even go over to where they were because my mom likes to handle stuff herself. At that point, my my 80 year old mom was just flustered and I think she just wanted to get out of there, so we left. Good thing it was only $5.99 because it was not only a bad haircut by a rude, non-comprehending. insensitive person working for you, but it was a waste, not only of $5.99, but of my and my mom's time. I know I. as well as anybody I know, will never set foot inside any of your businesses, ever.
I was very impressed with the politness and promptness of the personnel at this store. I don't know what the young man's title was at the desk, but he kept me informed through out the entire time of my visit with the status of my car. My son has used this business for several years now and he has also been very pleases with all aspects of their service. We will both continue to patronize this establishment for as long as they are here.
