Upon my arrival at the airport I went directly to the Hertz counter where I was told there was only one line for three rental car companies (Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty). I waited for about 40 minutes before anyone came to the aid of the single customer service representative. I was given a contract, asked to sign it, and I got the keys to the vehicle.I told the customer service rep that this was a government rental and had received the government rate. I did not look at the agreement provided, they charged me almost double what I was quoted. I had not noticed the change in fee until I was putting together my travel voucher and saw the huge discrepancy. I had never had a reason to not trust Hertz. The charge was $603.78, I called the office in September and was not able to reach a manger. I do travel a lot for work, so I was not able to call back until yesterday. When I called the Hertz Huntsville office I spoke to several associates. They told me that because in my Hertz profile I have checked marked LDW, LIS, PAI, and PEC, I automatically accepted the extra coverage. I explained to the manager, Miranda, that this was a government rental and that the government already pays $5.00 per day, per vehicle as a fee to cover the Government Administrative Rate Supplement (GARS). Why would I agree to pay extra for something the government already paid for? Miranda told me that she was not going to refund the extra $300.00 and that was just too bad.I also want to add that this is not Hertz Corporate. This is owned by Eagle Automotive, LLC. I wonder if they are aware of the poor customer service being provided?
Booked rental several days before. Received use of Nissan full sized sedan, used 1\\2 tank of gas for week that I had vehicle. Only down-side was that I was not familiar with where gas stations were located in order to return vehicle will full tank of gas. Selected your option for refill no matter what level was with return. Extremely glad I selected this option - running a bit late to check into flight (0700) and did not have to worry about that issue. Would I rent from Enterprise in future: ABSOLUTELY!!!
On 1/27/2017 I called Enterprise located on University Drive Huntsville, Al to extend my car rental for additional day. The phone was hung up five times before I was able to speak with James Cooper. James took care of the extension for another day, however in regards to the representatives hanging up the phone, he advised me to speak with him on the day of the car rental return. On 1/28/2017 I was greeted by a new young lady working at the University Drive Huntsville, Al location. I advised the young lady I needed to speak with James Copper, at this point the new representative looked at me with dissatisfaction and rolled her eyes and perceived to get James Cooper. While speaking with James Cooper he offer me a discount for my inconvenience, however he gave me push back on the ideal someone hung up the phone. James Cooper all but called me a liar in regards to the representatives hanging up the phone. During this engagement the new lady representative stood off at a distance staring with a face of resentment. I really felt uncomfortable at this time. James Cooper did not reflect genuine sympathy for my concern. If this was a test James Cooper failed to overcome objective and James Cooper failed to lead by example. In the future I do not want to be assisted by James Cooper or the new young lady in the future. This was a very bad experience. I was completely dissatisfied with my experience with James Cooper and the new young lady. However the car I rented was great as usual. The question I ask myself, what separates Enterprise apart from the other rental car providers. CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Customer Service doesn't always help with giving location information and options. In Retail associates always helpful. Ready to solve any obstacles.
All the staff was very friendly and the wait was not long. I recently had surgery and they helped me find a car that would accommodate my needs. Allen was very patient with me when I was selecting a car. I definitely would rent from this location again!!
I rent from enterprise a few times every month. I always have a good experience. Last week for logistic reasons, I used the Huntsville airport location. again a great exoerience
I had two vehicles that were put into the shop one day after the other for major repairs. Giving the time frame to have of the vehicles ready after repairs, I rented a vehicle from Enterprise on University Drive with no hassle, no long time waiting, and it was a busy Friday morning. Although the vehicle available was a little small for me, I was so grateful for what was available. Eventually, I had to extend the rental for more days I thought needed because both vehicles needed parts ordered. Enterprise didn't no hesitate to extend the rental, actually give the balance from the deposit to make sure money was still available. All in all, I rate Enterprise On University Drive 5 stars for great service with a professional and friendly attitude!!!!!
Terrible! I was referred to this location by my insurance company & they refused to apply a discount code that would have saved me hundreds of dollars. They gave me a rental car that had a broken headlight so I could only drive it during the day. When I contacted them about it, they told me to go get it fixed myself. REALLY?? Go anywhere else.
When I arrived at the Woody Anderson location to pick up my car, I was informed that they didn't have any cars at that moment and they would work on getting me one. With in minutes Brooke Hornfeck came back to me and said that she just got one in and was going to have it cleaned and then I could be on my way. She did that and more!! Great service and care of my needs and I didn't even have to ask for it. I will be back to rent more. Thanks
My experience was pretty good. The location was extremely busy, but handled the customers with courtesy. My car drove very well; however, it did need windshield wipers very badly. They squeaked very loud and it rained off and on during my Friday night travel.
