Today an employee at Rock Bottom Carpets assaulted my mother and my sister while they were inquiring about a claim we filed recently after having our kitchen floor redone by this company. When the cops arrived, this employee and two other employees who witnessed the entire incident denied everything that happened, as expected. Regardless, a police report was filed and we will now be filing a criminal assault charge against this employee and a civil charge against the warranty they refuse the honor on the work that was done at our home. The extremely low quality work that was performed in the first place is completely irrelevant. I want to let anyone in or near Huntsville, Alabama to think twice before ever giving this company their business. My mom and sister are fine. In this day and age, it is not a complete shocker that minorities such as ourselves would experience something like this, especially in the deep south.I can't wait to pay this employee a visit next time I visit Huntsville.
Did a. LOUSY job installing my carpet in a EMPTY house. No furniture to move are anything. Called to get someone to come out to stretch my carpet three times, to no avail. I will never use them again.

Be advised that any service done by this company is under no warranty, and they do not guarantee the quality of work. In fact, they force you into a binding arbitration agreement, because they have been sued previously for their poor craftsmanship. Unfortunately, I didn't read the BBB reviews or other reviews prior to entering into a business relationship with this company. I hope you are reading this before you have made a decision, and you make a better choice.

I will never use them again. Not only did they knowingly send a sick man to my house (he vomited RIGHT IN MY FRONT FLOWER BED!) My husband had to help move the carpet in and out of the house and move the furniture, which I was told moving furniture was only a courtesy and that was after the fact fyi and they left a mess of left over carpet in my bathroom and the tub?!?!. The manager told us, "well the job he did was good,right?" BUT YOU SENT A SICK MAN TO MY HOUSE,ALONE. We got nothing,a run around apology was pretty much it and an offer for a discount on future need, UMMMMM,NO. I will never use them again,my husband did half the work and,the installer(sub contractor) was very nice,yet he was sent to do a job even though he was sick and the manager was rude. So,next time,I will go with a company that has empathy for the people they work with and for.
I did not accept and have canceled my order, but even though they cashed my check at a branch of my credit union the day I wrote the check and the funds have already been transferred to them they are holding the refund for 10 business days after I gave them the check. What is it with a business that will not accept credit card payments. When I heard that I should have walked out the door and not placed the order. With this company it is definitely BUYER BEWARE!!!Follow up: I found out the business uses the same credit union as I do, so when they deposited my check into their account it was immediately withdrawn from my account. I stand by my claim they had obtained the funds on the day I made the deposit. After receiving the BBB complaint I filed against Rock Bottom Carpets today, July 20, 2015, 3 days after my review, I received a harassing call from someone claiming to be the CEO of the company. He was very agitated and displeased that I had filed a complaint on Rock Bottom Carpets. The call to me was not to discuss the matter because he wouldn't let me complete any statements during the conversation. The call lasted 11 minutes where he continually chided me going so far as to repeatedly calling me a liar for saying he cashed my check. He even said he would have considered reimbursing me sooner but since I filed the complaint I would have to wait 10 days to receive my refund. The fact is funds were transferred from my account to the company's account and since no material had been ordered nothing of the deposit had been disbursed; therefore, he has the ability to refund my deposit today but instead is insisting on holding my deposit for 10 days even though there was no hold time placed by the credit union on the availability of the funds. It now appears he is sticking to his policy not to ensure my check clears but in retaliation for filing a complaint. His actions today ensures Rock Bottom Carpets will not receive any business from me in the future.
I was very please with the sales and installation job done by Greg and Mike at the Huntsville Location. Greg did a excellent job installing our carpets and linoleum, and I was very impressed with the way he put down our linoleum with minimal seams. Good guys just trying to do work they can stand behind. Thanks!!
We did good business with this company the first time, then... On the second go around our 918.09sqft area we needed carpet takes 1200 sqft of carpet to cover 918.09 sqft. That's a piece of carpet larger than 24'x12'. Seriously not to mention carpet streched 2-3" per 10 feet. Well there goes another good company down the drain.
The best place to buy flooring in Huntsville. I have been so pleased with the service that I have recived from this company. They have always taken care of me and always have completed everything as promised. You will not find another retail store that gives you better customer service than Rock Bottom Carpets. I want EVERYONE to know how GREAT they are and I will tell all of my friends and family to buy their flooring from them
I have shoped all over town to find the best deal on my new flooring. David and Matthew were the two most understanding, patient, honest salesmen I have ever delt with. The prices are the best in town, the installers moved all of my furniture for FREE and the job went perfect. The install manager Mark even showed up to make sure the job was going just as I expected. I was treated like family from this company and I will refer all of my friends and family to buy from them. I know alot of times you only see the negative views people post cause they are upset, and I want EVERYONE to know how well I was treated and how I will only shop at ROCK BOTTOM CARPETS from now on.
