Upon my arrival at the airport I went directly to the Hertz counter where I was told there was only one line for three rental car companies (Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty). I waited for about 40 minutes before anyone came to the aid of the single customer service representative. I was given a contract, asked to sign it, and I got the keys to the vehicle.I told the customer service rep that this was a government rental and had received the government rate. I did not look at the agreement provided, they charged me almost double what I was quoted. I had not noticed the change in fee until I was putting together my travel voucher and saw the huge discrepancy. I had never had a reason to not trust Hertz. The charge was $603.78, I called the office in September and was not able to reach a manger. I do travel a lot for work, so I was not able to call back until yesterday. When I called the Hertz Huntsville office I spoke to several associates. They told me that because in my Hertz profile I have checked marked LDW, LIS, PAI, and PEC, I automatically accepted the extra coverage. I explained to the manager, Miranda, that this was a government rental and that the government already pays $5.00 per day, per vehicle as a fee to cover the Government Administrative Rate Supplement (GARS). Why would I agree to pay extra for something the government already paid for? Miranda told me that she was not going to refund the extra $300.00 and that was just too bad.I also want to add that this is not Hertz Corporate. This is owned by Eagle Automotive, LLC. I wonder if they are aware of the poor customer service being provided?
Booked rental several days before. Received use of Nissan full sized sedan, used 1\\2 tank of gas for week that I had vehicle. Only down-side was that I was not familiar with where gas stations were located in order to return vehicle will full tank of gas. Selected your option for refill no matter what level was with return. Extremely glad I selected this option - running a bit late to check into flight (0700) and did not have to worry about that issue. Would I rent from Enterprise in future: ABSOLUTELY!!!
Customer Service doesn't always help with giving location information and options. In Retail associates always helpful. Ready to solve any obstacles.
All the staff was very friendly and the wait was not long. I recently had surgery and they helped me find a car that would accommodate my needs. Allen was very patient with me when I was selecting a car. I definitely would rent from this location again!!
I rent from enterprise a few times every month. I always have a good experience. Last week for logistic reasons, I used the Huntsville airport location. again a great exoerience
I had two vehicles that were put into the shop one day after the other for major repairs. Giving the time frame to have of the vehicles ready after repairs, I rented a vehicle from Enterprise on University Drive with no hassle, no long time waiting, and it was a busy Friday morning. Although the vehicle available was a little small for me, I was so grateful for what was available. Eventually, I had to extend the rental for more days I thought needed because both vehicles needed parts ordered. Enterprise didn't no hesitate to extend the rental, actually give the balance from the deposit to make sure money was still available. All in all, I rate Enterprise On University Drive 5 stars for great service with a professional and friendly attitude!!!!!
My experience was pretty good. The location was extremely busy, but handled the customers with courtesy. My car drove very well; however, it did need windshield wipers very badly. They squeaked very loud and it rained off and on during my Friday night travel.
David A. and Branden G. are the best in the business! I am never disappointed when I rent from this Enterprise location on University Drive in Huntsville AL . I highly recommend you try them when you need a rental!!
Let me start by saying that I made my rental in September (16th to be exact) and did not need to pick up until Thanksgiving weekend at 5:00 pm. Thankfully, I called to see if I could pick up my "confirmed" vehicle earlier in the day and was told that "they" had been trying to reach me since my original confirmation date and did not have the van that I ordered. 1st the number they claimed that they tried to reach me at was a very old number and had been out of service for over a year. It was not the one I gave them during the original order so I am not sure where it came from other than maybe an an older reservation or something.. 2nd if they really needed to tell me they did not have the vehicle that I ordered and sent me an email confirmation number, then they could have reached me at the same email address To tell me there was a problem in the first place! 3rd if they did not have the vehicle I needed in September.. or October.. then God knows I would at least think they could surely have the damn thing by the end of November!!! I had to basically threaten the poor guy on the phone to get me something that would work considering I flew into Huntsville and planned on bringing furniture back to Florida with me through the rental. It ended up ok in the end thankfully, but it was no thanks to the way the company handled things or the way things should a have been done!! Poor business in my opinion!! Lord help them if I would have shown up at my actual reservation time!!
Booked online via Enterprise's website. Personnel at the counter at Huntsville Airport was courteous, professional and cheerful. I was provided an upgrade (which turned out to be several step-levels of upgrades) at no cost and given the choice of placing rewards miles towards either my Enterprise or National account. The return process was smooth and efficient and was properly calculated without request given that I returned the car a full day earlier than what was booked. Will not hesitate to utilize Enterprise again from Huntsville Airport.
