Purchased a Jeep through National Muscle Cars on 6/17.
Within a few weeks of owning the Jeep, I started having many issues.
I noticed there was a really loud ticking noise coming from the engine bay and there seemed to be something off. I took it to my mechanic and he informed me that the header was banged into place to fit and was causing a leak (the ticking noise).
The next issue that arised was the check engine light. The check engine light came on with a P0300 and P0456 code. The P0300 is for multiple misfires. My mechanic had to replace the the coil array and fixed the ignition grounds to make sure it was making correct contact with the ECM.
The P0456 turned out to be a straight forward fix. The gas cap that was supplied was the incorrect one for the model year.
The tire mount used for the door wasn't meant for an oversized tire. The tailgate squeaked really loudly. One day I was loading up groceries in the back and I noticed that door was "ripping". I had to purchase an aftermarket kit to be used with an oversized tire.
Fast forward to October. I parked the Jeep in the garage and it was making a gurgling noise... The radiator had cracked and was now leaking.
Smaller issues: The subwoofer wasn't working and had to be replaced, the soft top back window couldn't be zipped off (not a big deal now, purcahsed a hard top), and the AC/Heat makes a ticking noise when being used.
The last issue that I have been blessed with... The paint on the Jeep below the driver side door is bubbling.
I initially reached out to NMC about the header and check engine lights but was told the issue happened in transit.
I purchased this Jeep because I was told it was "Amazing in every aspect with attention to detail second to none" and "Everything is New or Rebuilt with every nut and bolt kissed and polished twice".
Lastly, National Muscle Cars is threatening me with legal action for leaving an honest review.
