Francisco's overcharged me for a diagnosis and induction cleaning, told me my truck was fine. My engine blew within a month of them inspecting it. My 2001 Toyota Tacoma was misfiring badly when I took it to them. They told me they changed the spark plugs and that there was no misfiring to diagnose. Either way my engine check lite was off and they told me it was fine so I paid them for the diagnosis and another $220 to clean out the injectors (which they told me would be $120 on the phone). I don't know what a $200 dollar diagnosis should cover, but I would expect that if they told me my engine was fine, that it would be. I will never use these guys again. I will take them to court to get my money back since they also refused to refund me on their misdiagnosis. See you in court Francisco you jerk

so awhile back after reading all these amazing reviews about Francisco's Auto Repair. I took my Honda S2000 to him. I was throwing a code for a misfire. I am not completely helpless when it comes to a wrench. So I immediately swapped out spark plugs and then ignition coils and then fuel injectors. still no improvement. I was then beginning to think it was a more serious problem. I took it in specifically requested a compression test and a valve adjustment. I told them the problems I was having and what I had done so far. He was quick to let me know unless I had replaced everything with factory parts he wasn't interested in playing with it. (I had) so he took it in. worked on it for a few hours and gave it back. He gave me the results of the compression test and told me that the numbers were horrible but after the valve adjustment everything returned to normal. This really confused me because a valve adjustment would accomplish none of this, and the numbers he gave me for the results made no sense also. Oh and to top it off he informed me he had replaced everything I had with the original parts that were in my trunk. At this point I was completely lost maybe he knew something I didn't? I paid the man still confused. got in my car and drove off. At this point my check engine light was off. FINALLY fixed cool. Maybe three min later it came back on. Now I'm pissed. I then take it to a certified Honda tech. He does the compression test right in front of me. All crap. So now what the hell... We do a leak down test and my head is shot. So something that is relatively auto-shop 101 He screwed up. I actually have no idea what he did. I wouldn't bring my bicycle to this fool.

I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years. I have travelled to Francisco's from Orange, Newport Beach and even when I lived in Phoenix because I don't trust anyone else. My Toyota Prius recently had several dashboard warning lights appear. 3 to be exact. A check engine light, a bright exclamation point in a red traingle and the worst of all, a hybrid system failure light. I've had 2 Prius's so I know Francisco's has Tech's that are specially hybrid vehicle trained. After diagnosing the problem Francisco informed me that he was taking my car to the dealership for warranty repair. I am so glad I had Francisco as my advocate. With his contacts and extensive knowledge I saved over $2500!!!!!! Francisco even gave me a free loaner. I'll never go anywhere else.
Franciscos auto repair is a SCAM!! I totally got ripped off. My first impression of Francisco's Auto Repair was a good one. But Shane has terrible customer service issues after he has the vehicle. I dont know why maybe he needs customer service training. I am surprised he still gets customers with the attitude he gives. I could swear the he wants you to leave him alone. I will never go back and I will spread the word He has had my vehicle for 3 weeks for a muffler job! Huh! $2000.00+ I agreed but will never go back. Be careful don't be fooled....
Cons: Customer Service and Time Served, Costly, Owner, Price, Looks for things to make money on...

I don't know what i am going to do now. I have wasted over $3,000 dollars on repairs with this company trusting them to take care of my truck. They told me that the people that previously worked on my truck ""were idiots"" was his exact words. I trusted them and they completely ruined my truck and it is not operating. Now I am stuck with a broken truck, and im down $3,000 dollars. People have told me i could have just bought a brand new engine for this kind of money. Well I am so upset, and i will take action! I am contacting the BBB, I will research every review, and auto site out there and I will spread my word! I hope that no one gets scammed like i did. Franciscos auto repair in Huntington beach is a SCAM! Buyers beware of this place, the owner is not friendly and he will scam you...

I thought my car needed some work on brakes according to one of those chain repair stores. I went to Francisco to get a second opinion recommended by a trusted friend.
Francisco did an oil change which included a free brake check.
After a quick conversation once my car was done, he said it didn't need brakes. I asked him again because, that other place said I did and that sounded odd to me.
He then raised the car, took off the tire and personally showed me it didn't need it. He saved me from spending 300 dollars I didn't need to. He gained a customer for life. Since then, I've needed a few basic repairs but, I know for a fact I needed every one of them. How do I know? Francisco said so! Honest repair shops are hard to find so, I'm glad I found this one!

For years, and through four cars, Francisco's has never failed to give me top notch service. They take the time to explain necessary repairs thoroughly and go the extra mile with pick up/drop off service and a friendly staff. The first few times I used their services, I made sure to comparison shop and always found their pricing to be more than fair. The best thing is, over the years I've had a few people highly recommend them, not knowing that I was already a customer. Best feeling in the world!
My chevy work truck has always had this electrical problem for as long as I remember. The dealer couldn't fix it and neither could this other shop. The staff managed to fix it in less than 24 hours and get me back on the road. When your work truck is your livelihood it's important to get it back as soon as possible. They had reasonable rates and a very clean autoshop.
Just recently my AC stopped working on my old lexus - no cool air was blowing out, just lukewarm air. My cousin has always recommended Francisco's since he has never had a problem with this repair shop and the prices are reasonable. He's been having Francisco's shop do all repair work on his Dodge pick-up for the past 11 years.
So I took my car to Francisco's and they told me it may take about a day to find the problem and fix it.
Well, it turned out to be something really simple to fix and only cost me $65.00. I was so relieved! I thought for sure it was going to cost more. And they got it fixed in one day!
They handled all the arrangements for renting a car for me for the day. Since I'm in outside sales, I couldn't be without a car. I rented the car at an incredibly low rate - I was so thrilled! Thank you Francisco for your friendly and quick service!.

It's never a good time for your car to break down. Needless to say, it happens and when you're in a new town you can only hope to find someone as honest and straight forward as Francisco.
I had been calling repair shops and dealerships for most of the morning and when I found Francisco's Auto Repair I decided to give them a call as well.
Being able to determine in a phone conversation if someone is trust worthy is a hard task, but there was instantly a rapport that Francisco was able to build with me. In his words, I was able to feel something unique .. and it was honesty.
I didn't expect a mechanic to be able to tell me what is wrong with my car over the phone, but I was hoping to find someone that would give me the feeling that I wasn't going to be taken to the cleaners with the work they did. Francisco was truthful in telling me that he didn't know what was wrong with my car, but that he knew how to figure it out. He was understanding with my budget, and he went the extra mile to earn my business as a first time customer; offering to cover half the cost of towing to his shop.
It's never a big thing that makes the difference on whom you choose to do business, yet after hearing that he provides a warranty for his work is a step in the right direction. He helped me cover some of the cost of towing my vehicle to his shop, was working on it before I left, and even arranged a shuttle to take me home.
While my hopes are that my car never breaks down, I realize now that when it does, I'm taking it to Francisco. He does great work and stands behind it.
I have been going to Francisco for many years and frankly, I wouldn’t trust my vehicle with anyone else. Francisco and his staff seem to treat me as his number one priority. While auto repairs are not cheap Francisco affords me the time to clearly explain what the problem is and articulate what my car needs in layman’s terms and proved it. The amount of time and energy this business given me worth every penny I have paid. I recommend Francisco to my co-workers and friends needs a reliable mechanic that takes pride and ownership the service he provides, Francisco’s Auto Repair is the place for you. I want to thank you Francisco for your professional service and being there when I needed help. You are the best!
Francisco's is amazing. Whenever I've dropped off my car, Francisco, or one of his team members has been there to help me and answer any of my questions or concerns.
Being a female, it's hard to be taken seriously when bring your car someplace. Most places want to take advantage, but not here.
When struggling with my job, Francisco was accepting of the act and even allowed me to make payments. Not only do I go there, but also my family and friends. It's a family owned shop, with great service.
I lucked out by finding Francisco's Automotive when my '93 Toyota truck was in big trouble. It required major work last summer when it blew head gasket number three due to a faulty radiator, and although the total repairs were more than I had originally budgeted, I got major quality for my dollar and now have a new favorite mechanic.
As an automotive industry professional, I've been given shoddy service at other shops and have dropped them from my referral list. Francisco and his staff are always my number one spot to refer people to, and once they meet him and he blows them away with his service, I suspect they too will also be loyal customers as well.
Whoever listed these glowing review as bogus is a bonehead. I like these guys so much that I'll stop in for a minute just to say HOWDY if I'm in the 'hood. I am now Francisco's Number One Fan!

*** Please see the reviews on Google from our Happy customers!!
My name is Steve and I manage Francisco's Auto Repair.
The review by cmarley and the claims made in the review are completely FALSE! It is clearly an attempt to slander the good name of Francisco's Auto Repair. There is no mention of car he owns or repairs done by us. He clearly does not want to be identified!
RolandoC makes no attempt to hide his identity. He has done work for Francisco's Auto Repair but is also a long time customer who is happy with our service/repairs.
You will also notice we do not have a single negative review!!

This place has been servicing my honda for several years.
I recommended Francisco's to a female friend of mine when the dealer told her that she needed to replace the electric window motor on her Toyota which would cost $1,200. She called Francisco and spoke to him directly. She described her problem and he said it may just need a new motor switch. Turns out that fixed her window and it only cost her $225.00.
