They renovated a 6 unit complex and a duplex in Huntington Beach. Very honest and knowledgeable group! I will recommend to friends and family.
Horrible business ethic. Will withhold any information they have on you and/or your vehicle. Zero competence from son, Brian Sassounian on how to handle lawful matters they partake in. Work hand in hand with a security to illegally tow vehicles/customers from the properties they manage and will not reimburse when they are in the wrong. ..they just tell you to move on.
Sleazy group that do not meet their obligations.
Be sure to do a VERY DETAILED and thorough walk though BEFORE you move in to a property managed by this company. Note every little thing you find and make sure they write it down on the move in inspection sheet. Our move in inspection was not nearly as detailed as our move out inspection, and they were completed by different individuals. The move out inspection 'found' several ways to accuse us of damaging the rental property we were in since 'none of the issues noted were noted at the pre move in inspection'. Had I dreamed they would be this particular I would have noted every little ding, paint spot, carpet spot and damaged drawer, etc. before we moved in. When we tried to talk with them we felt they were dismissive and rather patronizing.
My husband and I moved in July 15, 2013. At first, great experience. We didn't love our apartment, the AC didn't really work and we're pretty sure all of the hot water pipes surround our apartment because it's constantly about 85 degrees and can't cool it off, but whatever. Not the end of the world and we like the complex in general. Any time we had any maintenance issues they were here immediately, extremely professional, and very nice. Then we started having issues with the plumbing, as did the rest of our building. It wasn't fixed the first time, then they had a professional plumber come out. That still didn't fix it, maintenance came back, couldn't fix it, sent out the plumber again. He warned me that he feared it was a temporary fix and this would be a big job. 2 weeks later, we've had our plumbing "fixed" 4 times, the after hours emergency line doesn't do anything, and I've been without a working toilet for several hours on numerous occasions. I am very understanding that this is a bigger problem than a simple clog, and the problem is with the main line. However, I've received absolutely no help or understanding from the office staff. I call and talk to them, ask for a call back, receive nothing. This place is way too overpriced to be treated like that and have plumbing that doesn't work 100% of the time. If they gave us a financial break for our major inconveniences, that would be one thing, but they don't. The office staff has a collective IQ around room temperature. I will reiterate, the location is awesome, the complex itself is very nice and pretty well maintained, and the maintenance staff or awesome. The office staff make this place not worth it and we will now not be renewing our lease.
Lisa & the other staff are hateful human beings who could care less about you as a person. We were treated like hotel guest in our own home. I'm disgusted by everything that's been done to me & my family from these people. Save yourself the time & DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.
