just spent a wonderful sneak peek weekend at Camp Cherith. My granddaughter and I enjoyed all the activities. The food was great, the other campers lots of fun and the staff were all well prepared and lots of fun. Came home exhausted but happy. What a wonderful place to meet God and friends!!!
I love Camp Cherith! This summer is going to be my 4th year attending CCWNY. Last year i was there for 4 weeks and during hat time became closer to God than i was before summer started. I would highly recommend CCWNY to anyone who was looking into sending their kid(s) there. The councilors and other staff are the best around. You could go to them for anything and they would help you to the best of their abilities. the activieties they have are great! I won't be changing camps anytime soon :)
ALL my friends know this is the best place on EARTH!!! We drive 6 hours to get there, I feel very strongly that this is a very special place. My daughter talks non stop about her camp cherith experiences and can not wait for her next time there !!! The adults(staff) are very carefully selected, creating an amazing group of role models and a fabulous group to positively influence our children. In today's world we need all the positive influences we can for our children. And lastly, the food is served family style, well balanced and tastes gr eat!!!
I love Camp Cherith! I have been a camper since 2nd grade, and have worked there for the past 3 summers. The family I have because of camp never ceases to amaze me. The staff and campers have fun as they grow in many ways! Camp is an environment where everyone is accepted to learn about themselves, others, and mostly God and His love for us....
My children have attended this camp for many years and love it. The staff are attentive and caring but more importantly great Christian mentors. My kids love the activities, cookouts, campouts and the evening campifres. The site has great variety with rolling hills, large fields, a stream, pond, and woods for hiking and camping. Frienships made at Camp Cherith are long lasting and seeing those friends is something you can look forward to when you return each year. I am so thankful for the life skills that have been learned at Camp Cherith WNY and for the Christian growth I've seen in my children after camp.
Avoid. This camp is old and worn out. The price is very HIGH for what you get compared to other camps in the area. The staff doesn't seem to care about the kids and the activities really bored my children. They had a much better time attending a different camp in the area, but I won't mention the name. (It's located in Varysburg)
No parent by this name has sent a child to our camp in the last three years. This could be this person's opinion but our return rate is 75% so most parents would disagree. I wish them well attending whatever camp they feel is best for their children.
