Cypress Trails Equestrian Center

100% SATISFIED!!! First of all, making reservations was a great experience. The office manager was helpful, thorough and accommodating. She was able to book us for the day we called. And she gave us very specific instructions on what to do to be ready for the ride. Once we arrived all of the staff was friendly and helpful. They got us checked in. The only thing that was a small problem was finding a helmet. I would maybe recommend bringing your own if you have one (bicycle helmet). Next they made sure to match the horse to the rider by weight, height and riding experience. They give you some time with your horse to bond before you ride. They help through each step of getting ready especially if you have no experience with horseback riding. They were especially helpful with my 6 and 7 year old. They were patient and calming with them which meant a lot to us, of course. The trail guides were entertaining, friendly, and very helpful. They taught us all the basics. The trail was gorgeous!!! So green and full of so many trees. I'm not sure where else I could have gotten an experience like this. We were all so happy and grateful that we were able to experience this. This stable is extraordinary, especially for the more experienced rider who enjoys riding to his/her skill level. The riding area consists of acres of well-maintained shady trails near Cypresswood Creek and led by very experienced wranglers. In addition to the trail rides, they offer specialty group rides, including a lunch ride. The horses are in no way, shape, or form, barn-sour nags. Most of the animals are pure - or or part bred Arabians. They also have very gentle ponies for the kids that can be led on the trail or walked around the facility. The staff is extremely helpful and amazingly patient. The entire operation is a class act not to be missed.
