Resendiz Family Fruit Barn

I recently visited this nice establishment and tried some of their samples. I accidentally broke a tooth on one of them. I contacted the owner and he said he filed an insurance claim for me and they would call very soon. They never did so. It seems the owner is not particularly honest, sad to say.

This is the greatest place. Not only fresh fruit and vegetables and during the holidays they always have something going on. Haunted pumpkin patch durling Halloween and for Christmas it is beautiful. For adults and children. And the fresh baked pies and wonderful apple, banana walnut, pumpkin breads. Fresh honey and spices. Great place. Try it you won't be disappointed. It is a fun and exceptional Family Business. Their baked pies and turnovers from home grown fruit are excellent, baked fresh daily 7 days a week. Also a small deli serving sandwiches with sides, a decent price lunch and you pick a fruit and homemade cookie with or without a drink for $5, also this time a year the pumpkin patch with a hay maze is so fun for your children, they also have a coffee bar, bakery, lots of jellies, jams, syrups, all made there. They have baskets and all kinds of fresh grown fruits and vegetables in season. They run all year long. Open from 7am to 7pm. Also serve breakfast sandwiches and have a beautiful pond full of fish and ducks with a petting zoo out back. They have a playground and specials stations to have a picnic. It is close to Turlock Area and is very clean and right off Geer Road crossing Santa Fe going North to Oakdale. Check it out and go have fun for all ages. Take your time and enjoy the experience of all the goodies this Family has put into their business from homegrown crops and such a friendly atmosphere. Don't forget to take your camera! Our class visits Resendiz yearly. It is a great fieldtrip! The children get to plant brocolli (or strawberries), they tour the grounds, visit & learn about farm animals, and participate in a hay maze. With fieldtrip admission fees, each child gets to pick a pumpkin of their choice and they get a goody bag! Their store sells produce, baked goods, & coffees! yummmm. I never leave without purchasing a pie to take home to my family. If you have never been there, I suggest that you go. It is EXCELLENT! Staff are very friendly and the owner is great! Stop by for a pie or two. You won't be sorry!!!
