We had our only child here for 1.5 years. When we first started, we really enjoyed the place. It seemed they followed curriculum in each of the classes and our child loved going. First thing we noticed, is the turnover of teachers and directors. In the first months, 4 director changes and about 3 new teachers in my child's classroom. Then as our child transitioned to new rooms, it seemed there was a steady flow of turnover, however, a handfull of the older teachers seemed to stick around. We attributed the turnover to the high amount of college students they had, who may had changes in class schedules, etc. Up until this point all the teachers had been good. The last 3 months the place took a nose dive. My child went through 4 sets of new teachers-8 total in 5 months! Then we noticed our kid started coming home a disheveled mess everyday from the same classroom. I could also tell there was no care from the crafts we got. A lot of care and thinking went into what the kids did-constant new crafts and fun things for the kids. Lately, it looks as if the kids were given a piece of paper and a glob of paint, everyday. There also seemed to be staffing issues, there were times when dropping off early and there would be about 15 kids running around and only 2 staff. Also, it seemed I was dropping my kid off to people I had never seen before almost everyday. That's when I realized the old familiar staff was gone. The biggest concern to me was the director. Watching her with the kids looked forced, not to mention one morning dropping my kid off too her in an already full classroom, she looked like she could had killed me for bringing another kid. I still can't believe I left my child that day. Now going back and reading recent reviews from old employees, I know we made the right desicion pulling our child from there. There is a significant management issue there and piss poor leadership from the owners, that stems down to the teachers. Which the goods ones leave.
I have had my 4 year old enrolled for about a year now. I really feel that the she is learning a lot (like how to write her name, how to count, her ABC's, and even some Spanish words!) I also love the fact that her teachers really seem to care about the kids in their classroom. When I pick up my daughter she always gets a big hug from the teacher before she leaves and they are always asking how my oldest son is doing.
What a disappointment! Five different directors and a countless number of teachers in the past two years have made the quality of this daycare decrease dramatically. I would not recommend enrolling your kids here.
I first want to say that I rarely write reviews but feel obligated to warn other parents of the experience we’ve had with this center. We really liked this daycare when we first started but things have gone downhill fast.
As for the quality of care, it is not uncommon for our daughter to be a complete disaster when we pick her up. I understand toddlers will get dirty but this is extreme - boogers, dirt and food on her face, stained or wet clothes, messy hair, sunburn, dirty diaper and diaper rash. This is unfortunately not an isolated incident but seems to happen about twice a week or even more often whenever there is a new closer. It is honestly so bad that my wife and I will not bring our daughter into public until we bring her home and clean her up.
