Went there looking for a 2nd vehicle and ended up w/ a 2006 Kia Sedona looked good road well. Ended up buying it. On the way home we stopped for lunch and decided to check all the lights. The driver side tail light and license plate lights did not work. Called the dealer told me they were probably burnt out. So we got back to Dade City and bought new bulbs. That wasn't the problem. Called them and had to go back over to Hudson drop it off and they said it may be a few days late that day the called and said it was fixed. Went back over picked the van up and brought it home. Three days later used it to go 10 miles to Zephyrhills and on the way home all the dash light brake, battery, abs, and oil all came on and it became hard to steer. Call the dealer and was told to tow it over to them. The cheapest price i found was $250 that was just for towing not the fixing. Took it to a local garage and was shown the battery cable just flopping up and down but was tightened all the way. Tested and then replaced the alternator because the wiring was burnt from the oil leaking on it. And the serpentine belt was damaged. When I called the dealer they said I'm sorry for your luck buddy. So if your thinking about buying a used car don't buy it from Rock Bottom Auto Sales. This cost $753.00 to get fixed.
Scam artist buys junk cars from auction doesn't fix them but sells them as operating vehicles. Went through two cars and both lasted less than 48 hours. First car he tells me just needs a tune up I take it to mechanic who tells me it needs $1100 work. Jerry swaps this car for yet another piece of junk 8 years older with no A/C or radio which less than two days later won't start. I give him an opportunity to right this he proceeds to berate me and tells me to take him to court. So I'm out $1500 till court stay away from this scammer.
DO NOT GO THERE!!!! THEY ARE LIAR'S AND CHEATS!!! Worked with them on buying a vehicle for 3 weeks - they can't be bothered to return phone calls. After going thru all the BS and finally getting a Owner calling me, I agree to go there when I get off work with my deposit and they sell it to someone else who was sitting there when I arrived. AND the person who bought it didn't even have the deposit the manager was working a deal and giving her till next month to come up with the balance of the deposit! Meanwhile I'm standing there with cash in hand! This is after all my credit was run, bank statements submitted and personal info. divulged! I bet they didn't tell the customers about the oil leak or the a/c being broken. I was warned not to buy a vehicle from there and I didn't listen. UPDATE - Mario from Rock Bottom has contacted me and is trying to make things right. If the outcome is positive I will retract my statement and post a new review.
Terrible experience here. I would not recommend this place. I purchased a 2005 Camry. I was covered for 90 days drive train. The car started smoking out the tailpipe not even a month later. They took the car in for repair, they kept it 2 months and still couldn't fix it. They said they put a new motor in it but doubting that at this point because it's still smoking out the tailpipe. And now it' making a loud noise where it didn't have a noise when it went in to be repaired. My mechanic says it's the motor mounts. I called them numerous times and they ignore the situation. Dishonest and they play games. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! They are the most unprofessional and devious people I've met. The salesman is the stereotypical used car salesman and doesn't car about anything but what goes in his pockets. He will put you in a car that won't last a week and pretend to be nice and genuine until you pass the 7 day state mandated return period then they will tell you to pound sand. They will repair your car with used parts and then a few days later when those parts break or stop working they will make you pay to fix their mistake. They will sell you a car that has been taped and glued together and don't care that the car is dangerous. Don't waste your money, go somewhere else. If you are silly enough to purchase a car here, get EVERYTHING in writing because they WILL NOT keep their word once you don't have a leg to stand on.
We just purchased our 2nd Chevy Malibu. We had the 2013, traded it in for the 2014. Each time we had the same salesperson, Jane Meyers. She really worked hard to please us and get us in the new car. Everyone in the dealership was so nice, and helpful. Thanks Jane, Am, and anyone I forgot.
Go somewhere else.....DO NOT GO HERE. They had our vechicle taken form us over missing one payment, they actually came to my husbands job and towed it away. OVER ONE PAYMENT!!! When we called to figure something out, we were told we would have to pay the balance. After just giving them 2600.00, now I dont know about you, but money is hard to come by these days and so is having good credit. Not only that, but they are refusing to give us our plate that we gave them to transfer. WOW!!! SO CONSUMERS OF FLORIDA DO YOUR RESEARCH AND SHOP FOR A VEHICLE ELSEWHERE. HAVE TO GIVE COMPANY A STAR, IN ORDER TO POST.....BUT DONT WANT TO!!!!!
We bought a car for my son from here for a great price last year and have had no problems with it since. The people were very helpful and curteous and I would recommend this dealership to anyone. They made us feel like part of a family, not someone out to make a sale. They took their time with us and gave us the care we desired. Thank you Tim for all your help!
