WORST EXPERIENCE I have had in a VERY long time. After almost 2 years of not having a pet my husband and I decided to adopt. We turned in our application which we were told would take about 2-3 days to get approved. It has almost been 19 Days and we are STILL getting the run around by these people. At first it was they couldn't get a "good enough" record of previous vet visits on animals we owned in the past. (Which was a 15 yr. old dog, from a shelter and a 12 yr. old cat that we took in as a stray). KAREN wanted to make sure that the animal would get "regular vet visits and vaccinations". Then it was "concerns during reference calls". KAREN contacted me via text message to come in over a weekend to discuss her concerns, she gave some lame excuse that the shelter phones were having issues. (However I was sending messages AND calling her personal cell phone NOT the shelter phone.) I was in the neighborhood so stopped by to see the cat that we had chosen and after 40 minutes and 2 people telling KAREN that I was there, she couldn't even take 5 minutes out of her BUSY schedule to come out and discuss her "concerns". I texted her multiple times that weekend and since then with NO RESPONSE to this day. I hope the board of this organization does something about its RUDE and INCOMPETENT staffing issues... doesn't seem fair to animals that could have a safe and loving home but apparently they want to keep them in cages!

OVER 100 dollars for a kitten. Come on if you truly want to adapt them out your attitudes need to be fixed, I found the girl with short blond hair to be very rude to customers and the staff. Criminals don't usually go to adopt an anamil so stop treating all your customers like one. I plan on taking this matter to the highest up, that rude blond needs to find another job.and after I am done she will have to . We do not need a rude person like her represent the Humane Society. Go muck out some barns blondy.

I worked here back in the day and have adopted from them ,used to be a truly amazing place , now it is clear that all they want is money , I've been in there a few times recently and was treated like a bum in the parking lot.

My husband wanted to adopt a cat for me as our old cat had been put your sleep. He was told he had to fill in an application and wait to see if he was approved. The women he dealt with was very unfriendly and unhelpful. She called me the next day to say that our application couldn't possibly be approved because she didn't think my husband was serious. This in spite of the fact that I had been a fosterer for the humane society and adopted several cats from them over the last 20 years including the one that just past away at the age of 19. She was rude and obnoxious and lost a very good cat parent in me. I'm surprise anyone adopts from this location anymore now that this woman is in charge.

Use to work and adopted from this shelter, now they are only about making money. I will adopt next time from a place that the animals come first.

Awful and very unprofessional and does not try to educate the public on laws. They ignore you and are the most unhelp place I have ever spoken to
