Tried 3 TIMES to eat their food cuz its close. It is a rat hole. Even for bad chinese food, its BAD.
Disgusting with a capital GROSS!!! Cold everything, the most awful rendition of steamed dumplings I've ever endured. Which mind you was half of one of the six and was offered no apology or compensation for not eating the rest of them, which they took from the table. When we asked for a side of hot mustard to go with our eggroll that we were taking home unfinished, we were asked to pay an additional fee. But get this... if I ate the eggroll in the restaurant the mustard was free. That is just bad customer service period. The service was fair, the booth, table and booster seat were stickier then honey coated sugar. I will not be back and I will not recommended this place to anyone.
Terrible. Nothing that we ordered had any flavor. The soup and the "hot" tea was served lukewarm. The pan fried dumplings are 90% wrapper, 10% filling. The effort to cut costs here was obvious. The egg-rolls were inedible due to a foul taste. The sweet and sour sauce is pink sweet water. The Pork Egg Foo Young was chewy - yuck, not fluffy at all and the PORK was all but missing. The noodles in the "chow mein" were angel hair, starchy and the dish was bland. The Chicken Pea in Pod lacked any flavor at all. The owners are very attentive, however they spend the majority of the evening catering to a to-go crowd. We were given plenty of opportunities to complain, but there was just too much wrong. Sometimes, you just have to accept bad meal and move on. We would not return here.
Dont understand why this place aint packed. Maybe because people do take out like me. This place has the best food around and when I was there I seen the owner come out walk over by the fish tank they have there and point at little things that I did not even see up above it to get cleaned and while I was waiting for my food it was cleaned right away. So I see good clean habits here to match their great food.
Excellent food! Tasty and fresh with large portions and quick, friendly service! The only place we will order Chinese food from and we've tried just about every Chinese restaurant in Howell!Keep up the good work!
My husband and I were at a wedding at the Opera House and the evening was coming to an end. We saw Chinese Delight was still open and had wanted to try their food for a long time. I ordered a carryout of Almond Boneless Chicken, Beef Skewers and Egg Rolls. We ate the food about 10 minutes after picking it up and it was HORRIBLE!Both the Beef Skewers and Chicken were dried out and practically ineditable, the gravy for the Almond Boneless was cold and the Egg Rolls were soggy and not very flavorful. I was highly disappointed because while waiting for the order, I spoke at length with the owners and they were very nice, friendly people. Sadly, we won't be dining here or ordering a carryout again.
went there the other day..the dumplings and kung po chicken was fantastic.
