The Learning Tree in Howell as helped grow my daughter who is 2. She speaks clear, loves to sign and dance, and loves her friends. Miss Shelby's room is neat, organized and colorful! They even have pictures of family so when the little ones want there mommy's or daddy's they can look at there photos on the wall! I highly recommend.

We have been with tlt for 4 years. Miss Cyndi is our last official stop, and we are going to miss her. I truly believe she has prepared our little one for all that is to come in big kid school. We will miss her dearly and are so thankful for all she has done!
My husband and I love The Learning Tree Howell. Our daughter Annie loves going everyday. She has grown and learned so much there over the past year and a half. She talks about her teachers and especially loves when Ms Alexis puts pigtails in her hair. They have an amazing splash pad outside that we have to drag her away from. We would highly recommend!!
The Learning Tree Howell has been absolutely amazing for my daughter! The teachers are great & always make sure to give detailed updates daily!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
The Learning Tree is amazing, truly high quality childcare. We are so blessed we found it! They provide fun learning activities, healthy food, and physical activity in a safe and caring environment.
There are a couple workers who are kind to the children but one in particular who is physically rough: grabbing a child by the ear and telling him " (he) needs to use his listening ears", throwing a rag at a child engaged in potty training and telling him to “clean up the toilet seat” after sliding off to get down. The workers are encouraged NOT to play with the children, nor are they to talk to the children while they eat. Workers do not get paid for an hour and a half of the 3 hour mandatory nap time though they are expected to clean and to chase kids down who do not need that much sleep. Workers are required to work even while running a high fever ( 103). Apparently there is a zero tolerance policy regarding calling in when staff are sick. (This is a fire-able offence) NOTE: According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), “Sick children and staff should stay at home until at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever (100 degrees Fahrenheit or 37.8 degrees Celsius measured by mouth) or signs and symptoms of a fever (has chills, feels very warm to the touch, has a flushed appearance, or is sweating) without the use of fever reducing medicine.” “ Send sick staff home immediately and advise them not to return until at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever or signs of a fever (without the use of fever-reducing medicine).” https://www.cdc.gov/H1N1flu/childcare/toolkit/pdf/actionsteps_preventflu032410.pdfAdmittedly, 100 degrees seems a little excessive but when staff and children are clearly sick, do the right thing and protect the health and well being of the others in attendance. IMO, we need to and can do better for our children. For the following reasons, I would not recommend employing this facility, or another facility run or owned by this provider to care for my children, nor would I recommend working for this provider.
We have had our daughter with the learning tree for several years. We are very happy with almost every aspect of this daycare and would recommend it to anyone!
My husband and I love the Learning Tree! Since enrolling my son and daughter, we have noticed substantial growth in their intellectual development and ability to socialize with other children. Both of our kids look forward to going to "school" each day. My son currently is in pre-k with Mrs. Cyndi. He has made tremendous strides this year in writing his letters and is working towards skills for reading. Each day he comes home with something new that he has learned! My daughter is in the toddler classroom with Miss Britney. Her language has taken off and now we have a little chatterbox on our hands! Besides the focus on education, however, I also love Learning Tree because they allow my kids to be kids and just focus on play and having fun as well all while in a safe, healthy and clean environment. The teachers genuinely care about my children and are great about communicating with my husband and I. We wouldn't want to take our kids anywhere else!
Ms. Cindy and Ms. Brittany are fantastic teachers. We have seen so much growth in my two kids under their care.
Each day we are greeted with a smile! There is so much comfort knowing my little one is in the hands of such amazing teachers and staff. We are forever grateful for the work they do! The facility is always clean and the playground is amazing!
