This lady is a Rip-off she charged me more then 300 dollars to destroy my hair...My hair is breaking and gummy..shes a liar and very rude. Avoid going here!!!!

I used to go to Angela's but stopped going for various reasons. I became divorced and Angela cut my ex'husband's hair too. I made an appointment to go in there for a haircut and all she did the entire time was probe and ask me why I divorced my ex. She is jewish and ashamed of it which I think is disgusting. She is nosy, pushy, and she thinks she is gorgeous. She should take another look in the mirror. It seems that her entire family works there and they are all stuck up Russians. I don't have anything against Russian people but when someone pretends that they aren't jewish just to "fit in" in the neighborhood I look down upon them. Her haircuts are ok, nothing out of the ordinary. My daughter's went in there for their sweet sixteen party and had their hair done. She made my daughter's hair look like beehives. She does everyone's hair the same style. I would not recommend her at all. By the way, her prices are off the wall. She thinks that just because she has a business in a predominantly wealthy neighborhood, she can rip people off. Stay away from Angela's.

This lady will to your face about prices and rip you off at the register after she has already finished working on your hair. I took my girlfriend here to get bleached and she said it would be 40 dollars. Fine. She gets started and does a very messy job, burns her scalp, and has to re do it because she missed a spot. Then she says she is going to give her a trim to get rid of her split ends. She ends up cutting off way more hair then my girlfriend wanted after not even asking how she wanted it cut. And then charged another 50 dollars for a bad hair cut that she did not ask for. My girlfriend made the mistake of going back to this lady for a second bleach job and the the price magically jumped from 40 to 60 dollars! Don't go here. She is very pushy, rude, and you WILL get ripped off

I called and got a quote for a perm. She said $70. When I got there she said it would be $100 because my hair was long. No problem. The whole time she was doing my hair she was harping about my hair color, my hair cut, and on and on and on. She was pushy and trying to upsell me the entire time for nails, product, etc.



She kept trying to tell me to put layers in my hair. I told her I didn't want them & I had just gotten my hair cut somewhere else a couple weeks ago. The perm process left my ends a little scraggly so she asked if I wanted a trim. I thought it was included, as it is at many salons when you get a process. She never mentioned the extra charge of $70 until I got to the register. I said I wanted as little off as possible, she cut off at least 3 inches and layered my hair against my wishes.



She was right that the layers looked amazing but that's not what I asked for. Not informing your customers of extra charges is not professional or good business. She was rude, pushy, and overall it was not a good experience. She is good with hair but her attitude and business practices need a serious adjustment.
