Hello Ms. Debra L, this Kaneyama Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar. As the previous owner, Brad Sheffield explanation about the expiration date, the gift certification sold out BEFORE 2017 was ONE YEAR. The Kaneyama manager already explained with this 100$ gift certification holder, Ms. Nancy Morrison about this policy of gift certification expiration date. And Ms. Morrison had the previous owner's phone number, and we assumed that she already talked with the previous owner about this $100 gift certification. The date of gift certification was 12/20/2016 that is over one year. Please explain what happened about a 100$ gift certification and an unpaid 45$ Lunch with the police officers who concerned about it. Is that make sense? Thank you for your support and love as a Kaneyama customer! God bless you!
I have been to a lot of Japanese restaurants and this one is the best I am a truck driver and I cannot wait to get back to it. I was parked across the Street and I saw the restaurant and I was hungry I ran out of hours so I can't go nowhere I figured why not I loved it.
2/3/2017Had a great experience here. The hostess greeted us promptly and accommodated our large party. The server came within a couple minutes, greeted us and got our drinks. He was had a lot of patience when taking our order. He alway recommend us some nice wine to pear with our dishes. After we finishes everything he recommended us some dessert, sadly we satisfied with our entrées that we had to denie. The decor was beautiful with the lighting created a mellow atmosphere.Overall very pleasant experience. Just wish parking was better. We had to park down the stair because not everyone bought cash for else I'd give 5 star.Hostess: Lady with the dark curly hairWaiter: Adriel or Adrian
Great FoodThis restaurant has the freshest fish! I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. The staff is awesome and the service is prompt.
The place are clean, foods were good, especially the ramen noodle soup, will definitely go back for lunch
Great service, prices, and wonderful food. I can't wait to go back! Try the cold saki and the special of the day for sushi and sashimi.
Love the ramen, but yeah that other person said it... they yell at you when you come in. Can you believe that? It is like Bennigans or TGI Fridays. It reminds me of Chotskis from Office Space. Except that they don't have flair, they yell at you! Too bad cause the soup is good.
implausible place! The validity of this place is really up to par with other places. The food is fresh and well prepared, a hearty meal is what I go here for.
The noodles, and broth for that matter, are quite delicious. It almost makes me delirious how good they taste! I have taken friends here that have never tried ramen noodles, and they are now converts! Ala, what a glorious day when you find something that tastes so great. The reason I did not give this place a 5 star review is that they yell something whenever anyone enters the restaurant. It is really distasteful and detracts from the dining experience. It is such a shame.
My mom and I visited this place one day for lunch because she works like 2 miles away. We were having a taste for Benihana's but didn't want to take the drive so we settled for this place. We were sitting down, the chef had just finished our lunch and we're eating and look down and see a ROACH crawling on the table. IMMEDIATELY, we lost our appetite and informed the manager of the roach that was on our table. One server came with a wet towel and cleaned up the roach and the manager played as if he didn't see anything. We demanded for our food to be free but he just came up 15% off, yes 15 after seening a ROACH AND HE DIDNT OR ANY OF THE OTHER STAFF DIDNT APOLOGIZE NOT ONCE! WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!
