this is the worse service I have in 36 years living in unite state they abuse the customer not really customers prisoners we have no choice of another service so they take avantage of the customer by imposing any kind of penalty for being late on tap that they have a deposit they still cut you off and ask you for more money charge $34 for a declined credit card, $35 for door tag, and if is more than a week, after they shut your water you don't pay for a week thay can take your water meter so can charge you to put it back $100 this is insane I wonder what can I do to defend my self and others this is not right. And on top of that this is the worse water taste bad is really hard water
Their service is the worst service I have ever received. They cut my weather service because they didn't apply my depisite to the right account and at the next bill when I called to receive explanation of my credit Stefany the CSR didn't want to explain it but told me that I have to go in person to the office if I neded explanation. Bad CSR and no much óptions to make automatic payment
Terrible Company. I'm really disappionted in the customer service of this company. They are hard up for a dollar, and act like they are on the brink of going out of business. Bye Bye Ambit, hello agian Centerpoint !
Great Service! I called to get my electricity set-up for my new home in Houston, TX and John, the Service Rep from Ambit Energy could not have been any nicer to work with. I got great service, a low cost and a Free Hotel stay, not to mention Travel Rewards (still gotta figure out where to go!) just for becoming a new customer. Wow! I have never, had any electric company treat me like this!! You guys are awesome. Thank you Ambit Energy!!
May 2012 I switch to save $$ so I thought, was having difficutties but always paid. Times got a little hard, called to make arrangemts they DONT! I was told by CSR " go to a church" I was D/C my feelings were very hurt in the way I was spoken too. I hv only had them for not even 1yr . Around Nov2012 times got a little rough again (Nov) D/C again for late payment "my fault did'nt check the mail on time life happens ..it happens . Feb2013(today) Things are better but still rough. Get my statement PAID IN FULL on line and noticed my original rates were changed to double per kwh. They sd because I had 2 D/C they terminated my contract and put me on a Variable Plan???? I dont see how a Million @$$ Co. will take a customer who is having difficulties and force them to pay more instead of offering plans to assist them in times of need. This is wrong and should not be an option.I am a single mother 2kids just finished school looking for wrk and struggling from time to time. Not fair to have someone kick you when you are down. I think this Co. takes advantage of people and when I can I will switch my business will no longer be with this Co. The grass is not always greener on the other side. I was convinced by a Sales Rep to switch I should of stayed were I was.
My water service was terminated due to past due payment. I called and they told me that if I went to the office and paid by 4 pm (which I did), they would restore service that night (which they didn't).
The people who lived in the house before me left without paying the electric bill, basically "skipped out"! (I had only been there a week) I had the horrible experience of coming home from work, and my electricity was turned off. $100.00 worth of groceries in my refridgerator, spoiled. It was horrible. When I finally found the company that serviced the electricity account for my house......by calling every company in the yellow pages, and being lied to by several.....I reached Darrell Holmes. He confirmed that Ambit was the carrier. Darrell went above and beyond for 3 days helping me get all this mess straightened out and my electricity back on. I have never eperienced someone so helpful and caring. I am a single woman, new to the area, I don't know anyone. Granted I had to "camp out" for 3 days in my house.....but Darrell came through for me. I appreciate his help and the way he worked so hard to get this problem resolved. I highly recommend him for your electric needs. His diligence will not go unrecognized.....what a great guy!
I called yesterday and immediately spoke to a representative. There was no hold time at all and no automated system where you have to select from a menu of options. This company is very efficient at handling their customers. I have had bad experiences with other companies that have month to month plans. In one case my rate almost doubled the second month. I learned that the best way to prevent rate hikes is to do a fixed rate for a term like one year. Some companies offer choices on the length of the term. One year is standard. A fixed rate will not go up for the term. With the rates as volatile as they are it is the best way to protect yourself. I would highly recommend doing business with Ambit.
