This is the downtown branch. It is full of rich resources and helpful people. Every thing you need for learning, research and fun.
Well my experience is limited almost to nothing. I am trying to locate an IRS office that serves Humble, Texas. You are about the closest office. I will keep plugging!
This is not the number to call for help. Call 713-209-3660 in Houston or if elsewhere call 877-777-47788 for Taxpayer Assistance Office (TAO). TAO is the most helpful office I've ever seen. They are exceptionally well trained, helpful, caring and have or can direct you to all the answers you need.
Incompetent and unreliable staff answering the phone. We could not solve our water bill issue because in spite of repeated phone calls no one checked our water meter which does not work.
Yeah!... Dallas Texas has Discontinued the fluoridation of public water. Halleluyah. Oh I hope Houston and the surrounding area will follow suit. Here is part of the newsletter sent out by the 'Dirt Doctor' about the removal of toxic waste from their Municilpal Water... City of Dallas Votes to Discontinue Adding Toxic Waste to Municipal WaterLed by the courageous District 9 councilman, Sheffie Kadane, Dallas City Council has voted to discontinue the policy of spending more than $1,000,000. 00 a year to increase fluoridation of the city’s water supply. Although many other cities around the world have decided to stop “fluoridation”, this historic event makes Dallas the largest city in the U.S. to discontinue the use of fluorosilicic acid (FSA) and similar industrial sources of fluoride.
Unreliable staffs. My water bill got 3x higher several times. The problem occurred couple times within 7 months and not solved.
If you don't want to stand in line long, and you want agents who will treat you with kindness and show patience when you need additional information, the Cypresswood Branch of the Harris County tax collector is where you should go. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes! Earlier in the day, I went to the Tomball branch and will not go back. I was in line for half an hour, then found out the people in front of me had been there for over 2 hours. They still had at least 9 people in front of them, which meant I had 15 people in front of me! The line didn't move the entire time I was there. Oh, and there was only one agent servicing because at 11:00, two others had gone to lunch.
