My company hosted a conference at this location. It was a little hard to get to as you had to go through another parking lot to get there. However, once there, the meeting space was wonderful, the customer service unparalleled, and the sleeping rooms were incredibly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this location for business or pleasure.
We were very disappointed to not see a lot of Astros memorabilia or MLB themed artwork. The bar is nice and pristine, but not an MLB bar at all. We are die-hard Astros fans and have waited for he opportunity to visit Craig Biggio’s bar but we will not be returning. Also, you’re in Texas where Dr. Pepper is king and yet they serve Pepsi products, again extremely disappointed.
It's in a great, central location if most of your time in Houston is spent downtown, the Heights, Galleria and near west side.Our King room was large and clean. There was a couch and long desk so you can hang out without having to sit on the side of the bed.
My husband and I have been staying at Extended Stay for about 2 months now. When we checked into our room there were clothes under the bed, clothes in the bathroom from the people before, and dirty dishes in the sink, also no TV. When we mentioned the dirty room and no TV to the front desk, they laughed and didn’t even offer to have someone come clean the room or switch the room so we can have a TV. We are in between houses, so we had to go to our storage unit to get our own TV. We also had to clean the hotel room from the previous people. Also, seems everyday the room cards stop working. When we went to the front desk to ask for a room key Adrianna didn’t even respond rolled her eyes and kept looking at the computer, she had a very disgusting attitude to be working customer service. Sheena the Property Manager is extremely rude. When we came to her with a problem she would laugh at us and not help. Someone next door has 4 dogs and they like to poop by our front door. And when we mentioned the poop the Sheena she just rolled her eyes and walked away. She waited until someone else mentioned it to her to clean it. Nikki “Sherlonda” is also very rude and disrespectful. Seems like everyone that works there is only respectful to their own race AKA we’re white. Sheena has a very bad attitude it seems like she only cares enough about her job to not get fired. She has not once helped us and also talked about us to other employees, telling them not to accommodate us. We are in between houses at the moment. But we will no longer stay at another Extended Stay especially if Sheena is going to be there because, she has been no help at all. I actually saw her cuss out a young women yesterday and told her she was going to “whoop her ass when she got off the clock” called the cops and kicked the couple out. The place is very unprofessional the rooms are disgusting nobody cleans. Sheena, Adrianna and Nikki “Sherlonda” are very unpleasant people to communicate with.
We booked a destination wedding in Cabo and worked with John Benwill at Pulse Travel to manage all of our guests accommodations. He did a fantastic job with keeping everyone organized and up to date. I couldn't have been happier.
Our party received contaminated food/alcohol and were made violently ill.Management could care less and would not even bother to laterdiscount our ticket or apologize. Avoid this place-our experience could not have been worse!
We arrived at the park after dark to no trailer on our site. ADV was closed until Monday. There is no after hours number & they don't check email/Facebook all weekend. I left msgs. I went looking for it & didn't find it in the dark. I had to stay elsewhere w/4 people & 2 dogs. Next morning I drove & found the RV. They delivered it to the wrong site. Our site had full hookups. They delivered it to a tent site with no hookups. The slide was not out as there is no electric on that site & the RV battery was dead. They dropped the RV on a tent site & left. We couldn't use it in that spot if we wanted to since the slide could not be used.It doesn't make sense that someone would want an RV w/slide on a site with no hookups, but driver didn't think about that. He could have called me or asked at the park office for our site number, but he just left it there. We had no choice but to find someone with a truck and ask them to move the RV to the correct spot on the other side of the park. We had to jumpstart the RV battery so we could hook it up to his hitch. Then we had to set up the trailer on the correct site ourselves.We filled out forms provided by ADV for a refund. I requested a refund for 1 night that we did not have use of the RV and half of the delivery fee. They claimed that they delivered it to the site I requested. This is not my first time having a trailer delivered there by ADV. I know the section with hook ups. Yet they claim I told them site 113. They said according to the contract they can't refund any days of rental unless the RV is in a repair facility 24 hours. I never claimed the unit had a breakdown. That section does not apply. ADV has no customer service and doesn't care about customers to make it right when they know they're wrong. They sent a certificate for 1 free night in the future. I will not be doing business with them again. They would rather lose a customer and risk a bad review than do the right thing.
I am a well-traveled person and this is the best traveling agency that has accomplished all my needs. I suggest to anyone traveling contact this agency.juanita cole
