I've taken many pairs of my J Renee shoes there to be cut down and they have done an excellent job. Carol L.
I use them to get my husbands shoes polished and any repairs that been done. They are friendly, quick, inexpensive, and do a great job!
I recently took my heels in for repair, honestly I wanted to throw them away. One heel was missing a heel and the soles were mess up. But then a friend told me about this shoe hospital. I thought why not give them a try, after all they use to be my favorite heels. I was excited when I saw the heels again. They were like new straight out the box new. I really like the service and will be back again.
Good place if you want to drink and experience some dank a.s. Always good times to be had here! I would know!
There is no food, but they let you bring it in. Nice atmosphere and decent drinks. I keep going back.
The store is really great. They sell inexpensive shoes that range from 10.99 to 13.99. I have been in the store and seen other customers that literally want department quality shoes for 10.99. The quality of the shoes is actually good. The employees working there are helpful when you need help but the store is self-service so I did not expect to be treated any differently.
Attended Grooves of Houston last night for Live Scene Saturdays with a friend from out of town. Went on the website to RSVP. as instructed prior to coming to the venue. I was rudely greeted by Rika at the front door who was extremely unprofessional and rude . She quickly assumed that I hadn't RSVP'd and did not know how to search for event brite in my email.. Very bad and condescending attitude.. She yelled at me that what I had in my email was not a ticket. I told her I understand but that I did RSVP for me and my out of town guest. I asked to speak to the promoter. She never called or asked the promoter to come outside as requested. After waiting ten minutes and missing more of the live music band who we came to support, I literally had to call Grooves of Houston from my cell phone outside and ask someone from inside to come out to assist us. Someone came out and let us come into the club.I was told by the promoter that by the time I RSVP'd earlier that the sale had ended but it still let me RSVP anyway, but just didn't send a ticket confirmation. Promoter never apologized for the inconvenience. just that the website shouldn't have let me RSVP and that it is a known issue. Clearly other guests had the problem as well. This needs to be fixed. Rika should not be out front as a representation of Grooves of Houston.

Same crowd, same fat British guy from the efficiency apartments, same dried-up cancerous bar tender, same convicts, same Mount Marley, same Strange Brew, same dart games, same chubby chasers, same everything. But those Big A beers for $3.00 hit the old Spatten. This is not a classy joint,; but they did re-do the bathrooms a few years back.Saw a chick wet her pants, and another light matches on her silicone jobs for all to see. Can see the drug dealers at Food Town the next day shopping with their grandma.Get lost in the Time Machine, be a faithful patron. Don't get too crazy, you too might climb Mt. Marley...
