The first time I had ever stepped foot in a Perry's was January of this year for my Birthday Dinner. I was getting over the flu and I thought the flu was making me delusional. How could this be? This fabulous place was just a couple of miles from my home, and I had never tried it. To say the lea…

I am a regular, and Pauls has revamped his staff. Service was better than before, even then it was good. \r They really like to know you by name, as if you are family. The menu has changed and the food is even better than before! Bring all your friends.

I have been going to the Ashland house for many years. I even got married there. My entire guest at the wedding said how wonderful the food was. The best thing about getting married there was the place was already decorated. We said our vows in between the trees growing out of the restaurant.…

I usually use this restaurant for take out and my experiences have only been good. They always make sure I have everything I need - they even remember to ask me if I need tartar sauce or cocktail sauce! Dinner is usually a hectic time for our family, but when I take home dinner from Pappadeaux…

This place is very close to my office which is not a great side of town. It is in a very old building and you feel like you in the 50's. The waitress is very nice. The staff seem to know most people there. Everybody knows everybody. They greet people by name as they come in and ask them if …

I lived in New Yourk for six years and when I moved back home to Houston the thing I missed most was a good sushi roll and a cup of miso soup. Thanx to Mosa Asian Bistro I can get my favorite comfort food when ever I want!

I have been looking for a place that has really good gyros close to home. I hate going almost to downtown, but I love gyros and lamb. This little place has the most awesome beef and lamb gyros. You can order them in the greek style, not indian, which I do not care for, even though this is an in…

We went on a Sunday after church. I love Oak Trees, and have been wanting to check this place out. \r \r The open concept and huge windows make you feel like you are sitting outside. The server (Roark) understood that we may want to actually enjoy our drinks (bottomless mimosas) and take our …

Love this place - Italian dishes with a hint of herbs/spices, which makes it unique versus the Italian restaurants that slather lots of cheeses and sauces. It makes you feel like you're dining at home. The prices won’t bust your budget. Excellent wine list, but the vintages is what you may want…

I was really happy to find this place--my favorite spots have shut down or are long gone. I grew up in Houston back when there was basically only pasture along I-10 between the city limits and Katy, before the malls and the Home Depots. Walking into this place and having a brisket poboy soaked…

No matter where you go, this chain is always true to their food & quality service. If you've never experienced their breakfast, you just haven't lived. Even if you have to wait to be seated, the store will keep you busy shopping to pass the waiting time quicker. This one in Katy can be missed co…

I stumbled upon this place today when the restaurant I wanted to eat at closed at 2:00. I remember seeing this place mentioned in a local Houston magazine and I had wanted to stop by and try it. Boy am I glad I did! \r \r I am usually very picky about my hamburgers; I like good quality meat a…

Took over 20 minutes to get our drinks. Less then 2 dozen customers, so they weren't busy. Another 20 minutes or so to get food. One of the kids' orders was scorching hot, the other was warm, and they had the same thing. Not our first poor experience here, but they were busy the last time.

What is that sauce over the enchiladas?? Too good! My friend took me here for lunch...and I would have never found that place because you've got to turn down this side street. But I'm so glad she did. I ate everything on my plate...which is rare. I'm taking my husband soon. Try it!

Catherine’s latest venture, Café Brussels is a great new addition to the Heights. Try the Tartare de Saumon dressed with a zesty Belgian country vinaigrette accompanied by a Belgian draft beer or glass (bottle!) of wine. You can’t go wrong requesting Catherine’s favorite mussel dish for a main course, Belgian classic, Moules Marinières, accompanied by a large serving of golden Belgian Fries. The large and succulent mussels are steamed to perfection and portion sizes are very generous! My dining companion enjoyed le Petit Pavé de Bruxelles, a perfectly cooked steak and le Cordon Bleu. Be sure to leave room for one of Café Brussels fabulous desserts! Catherine's crepes are among my favorites.Catherine Duwaz is both a good friend and a genuinely nice person. It brings me great pleasure to see a friend continue to succeed in a town that can be unforgiving to restaurateurs. Cafe Brussels is our new "go-to" place in Houston for great Belgian food. And to top it all off, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and the portions sizes are generous.
We decided on the Villagio & couldn't be happier! The venue is clean, spacious, and simply elegant. We had our ceremony and reception here. Trish, owner & overall planner, is prompt, thorough, charismatic and easy to work with. The venue is tucked away at the end of a street, with private parking & far from the street. There are inside/outside room options, but the trademark is a beautiful spiral staircase for a grand bridal entrance! The package we chose was the Ultimate II. This package comes with everything except the DJ and videographer so we didn’t have to worry about hiring various vendors for each part of our wedding. Trish already has a strong vendor selection. Our package came with food, cake, linens, floral arrangements, photo booth, lighting, photography, 2 HPD officers, and a wedding coordinator. We paid extra for drapery and it was beautiful. The caterers allowed us to test the food in a prior meeting so we can give them very specific details. Mr. & Mrs. King 08/12/2016
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant ever. We have frequented a lot of Mexican food restaurants, and who hasn't when you live in Texas. But Tierra Luna Grill is by far the best I have ever been to.The flavor of the salsa is awesome. Evidently they grill the tomatoes for the salsa and who knows how they spice it up. The chips are warm and thin and crispy. They give you a small bowl of queso with the chips. I could dine on the chips and stuff alone. They were soooo good. And the waitstaff is terrific at keeping the bowls full and making their customers happy. The owner even came by and visited with us. She was wonderful. And then there are the entrees. All I can say is 'WOW!' They were marvelous. The Carnitas, Fajitas, and the Barbacoa are to die for. Perfectly cooked and spiced to enhance the flavor, not overpower it. The charro beans and spanish rice where super as well. Fantastic homecooked Mexican food and the waitstaff is great. We very highly recommend the Tierra Luna Grill.
This restaurant reopened since the end of Jan.2013 because of the ownership changes. Every dishes totally different with previous. Simple menu but fresh and delicious. Main menu : 15 kinds of fresh sushi roll(except raw fish) , Teriyaki, Homemade Dumpling, Fresh Salad and Daily Special with the unbeatable price. I am office lady has to work 5 days, so that do not have enough time cook for my family, when I been here at first time I had loved here, 'cause whatever I bought for my family, they ate all of them and even asked for next time order. Sushi roll, Teriyaki, Salad and Dumpling we tried all. Here is the best one I knew in Katy, yummy and health food with acceptable price, strongly recommend!! Promise if you try, and you couldn't forget it!!
I have worked here part-time for about 6 months and I loved every day there! From day one to my last day, I had the opportunity to see the students grow and excel in subjects that they never thought possible. With a wide array of resources there, we (the tutors) were able to help each individual student on their specific needs. Whether the student needs help with homework, help with studying for a test, or even wanting to excel to learn ahead, we had everything to needed to assist them in a wonderful learning environment. This is a great place to see your kids excel and I would recommend everyone who is looking for extra help to come here!
This Cajun & Creole Cafe is by far the most professional, hospitable and presistant cafe I have come to know. The food is excellent and the Chef and his wife are very kind at heart people. I enjoyed the La Red Beans, this plate comes with a Grilled Sausage Link and a square of their famous Strawberry Cornbread. The menu ranges from Shrimp PoBoys to Southern Fried Catfish and also N'Awlins Crawfish Etouffee. The taste is awesome, they said it's"Good Food for the Soul" This Cafe ,I will neer forget!
We were very lucky to find XLN CompuTrain on Groupon. The owner Sandra is very personable and gave us a tour the first visit and I was so impressed with the facility and the tutors. After the first visit , my daughter got the second highest grade in her class on an Algebra 2 Final. Ask for IRA! I highly recommend this tutoring center. There are several tutors close to us in Clear Lake but it is worth the short 10-15 minute drive.
Went there for the first time and won't go back. Thin, chewy pork chops served with French fries AND mashed potatoes. Brussels sprouts were tough and pedestrian. Wine very pricey. They need to adjust to get repeat customers. Service in restaurant side nearly too stuffy. Expect to spent more than $100 for a couple if having drinks.
Every place in the world will have those bad days, but mesquite grill in the other hand every time I've eaten there was some of the best food I've eaten. I've been there a handful of times and everytime I've gone the customer service was 100% perfect at times yeah they might get the orders wrong but it's always been good
First i would like to say that this restaurant is family owned. The people working there are extremely nice. The food is incredibly delicious. The restaurant gives out really big portions of food, and the price is not expensive at all. The place is very cute, and i will be going back there from now on.
