This place has great people who understand the dog owner mindset. \r They have a convenient place inside the loop, great day care programs (at below competition prices) and their staff cares about the pets. This to me is the most important thing - carers who really seem to care and like dogs an…

I just wanted to write you a short note to say “Thank You!” As you know, I took my dog Rex to two different trainers in the past, with no success. I thought Rex was not trainable. Thankfully, a colleague of mine recommended you, and I’m sure glad she did. Having Rex properly trained has made suc…
Very friendly staff to start off, their check in was very simple and easy. They also posted pictures on their fb page constantly so we could see our dog while we were away. Will definitely use Pet Paradise again.

Of course no one loves my dog more than I do, but they sure give me a run for my money. Brooklyn and I just love everyone on staff, and they take great care of her. I have used them since they opened a few years ago, and their service has been wonderful. Whether it's daycare or boarding, I kn…

This is the best place in town to board your cats or to have them groomed. The owner (Vicky) and staff (Amy and Debra) are very nice and treat them all like their own. I always though my only option was to board my cats at the vet's office but I was hesitant because the condos were not that big…

Just like the planning that went into your vacation, there is prep work to do before boarding your pet. Here are some do's and don'ts to help make the process a little easier.
Great grooming services at fair prices. I have a long hair cat and it was approximately $40 for a wash and blow dry + nail trim. Very well located on West Alabama near Montrose. A total "mom & pop" type business and they sell adorable cat toys and the like for the most finicky cats and their human mommy's. :) My only rather large complaint, and the reason I did not give 5 stars is they have absolutely no concept of "appointments" or "time management." Supposedly their first appointment is at 10:00, but when pressed, they'll tell you 9:00. When pressed further, they'll tell you 8:00 for special circumstances. So when you think you've got the first appointment of the morning (at 9:00) there is a strong likelihood that you do not. Furthermore, they will start working on your cat, then let him "rest" and go work on another cat, and your cat gets forgotten about...The first time I went, an appointment that should have taken 2 hours tops, took 4. The second time, after my cat had been there for 2.5 hours, I called to get an approximate pick up time and THEY HADN'T EVEN STARTED YET! I found this to be totally unacceptable. If you're in a hurry, this is not the place for you. If you have all day and a very flexible schedule, go for it, they are good at their job, they're just awful at time management. They also seem completely unaware and unphased that a customer might be upset if they are running 2-4 hours behind schedule. And this is the norm, not the exception. It's VERY laid back... perhaps a bit more than is justifiable. In my opinion, they either need to allow more time between appointments, take fewer appointments or get additional staff because it's not fair to busy moms to expect a pet grooming session to become an all day affair.
Catnip Inn is wonderful!!!! The owner,Vickie, is so sweet and genuinely cares about all the cats! She was very understanding when I was concerned to board my cat for the first time and answered all my boarding questions! She was very kind in reassuring me that all would be well and my cat would have a blast! She was right!! Debra, a groomer, is amazing with cats. She is so compassionate and kind to all the cats that come through the door. Her passion for cats shines through in her daily work! I cannot say how many times my cat has been difficult during a grooming session but Debra loves her, attitude or not! For that I am truly grateful!! Amy, another groomer, lives on the premises and is also wonderful with cats!! She really takes the time to get to know each cat's personality and won't forget a name or face! To sum it up, while at Catnip Inn my cat is treated as their very own! She gets all the attention and love she needs! And they have a cat playroom... how neat is that!! I have recommended Catnip Inn to all my friends with cats and urge anyone who is looking to board their cat to stop by their place for a visit! You won't be disappointed!! Thank you Catnip Inn for taking such wonderful care of my cat!!!!
My husband and I just finished Bryce and Angie's six week basic to advanced obedience training and behavior correction. We couldn't be happier! Trigger (our australian shepard/blue heeler mix puppy ) came with no training, and a fear aggression to new people and other dogs. Per our request, not only did Bryce train our dog to full obedience, but he also brought in his dogs (super well trained, to an impressive competition level) to help Trigger learn how to greet new dogs. We spent six weeks learning sit, lay down, climb (an awesome, rare obedience technique of stay), loose-leash walking, heel, sit and lay down while in a heel command, leave it, down, and free (another awesome command). He taught Trigger these steps, but also worked with my husband and I to help us understand why trigger was acting out, or how he understands each command. We couldn't be happier with our transformed puppy! Bryce and Angie came to our place to work with Trigger in our own environment, and that in and of itself sold us! These two are the real deal, havung trained for six months to a professional level, and they were worth every single penny! Our only regret? Not calling them sooner!
I live a few blocks away from this kennel and watched it as it was built - I have left my two little ones at another facility in the area and decided to try this one out since it was so much closer - am I glad I did - the facility was very clean (no odor) the staff was extremely helpful and my pets love going there - after one stay I had my feelings hurt by my pets because when I went to pick them up, after saying hello to me they went back to the door that led into the kennel and wanted to go back in - as a pet owner there is not any better feeling than to know your pets really do enjoy being at the place you entrust with their care while you are away - you feel the caring when you are there - glad they came to our neighborhood
I have been taking my dogs to Best Friends for years. All of my dogs over the years have loved staying at Best Friends. When I pick them up, they are happy and healthy. Best Friends sends me pictures when I am away showing my dogs at play. When one of my dogs has needed special medical attention, Best Friends has carefully followed my and the vet's instructions to the T. Charlotte, my latest dog, is not a very friendly dog when it comes to people (early abuse) but she loves the people at Best Friends. The facility is clean and the pet accommodations are made to my order. I highly recommend Best Friends
This is the best place in town to board your cats or to have them groomed. The owner (Vicky) and staff (Amy and Debra) are very nice and treat them all like their own. I always though my only option was to board my cats at the vet's office but I was hesitant because the condos were not that big. At Catnip Inn they will have plenty of space, get to roam around and get all the love and attention they need while I'm on vacation. I recommend it to anyone who'd like piece of mind and their cats well taken care of while you're out of town. The prices are very reasonable too!
We are so pleased with Lichtig's K9 Academy! We recently rescued a 1 year old GSP and have another GSP puppy. We signed up for the 6 week private obedience program. Bryce and Angie were very professional, knowledgeable & always positive with our dogs. You can tell that they genuinely care for the animals. Our dogs are now able to follow all basic commands, walk without a leash & stay until released. We also have 3 children that they no longer jump on. I would highly recommend Lichtigs k9 Academy to anyone looking for a dog trainer!
I must say I am very happy with the grooming of my babies. They were all playing when I arrived and all looked so great. They had bows and bandanas and all smelled so great. The atmoshere is very friendly and the groomers Terry and Chris are just so great. I boarded my babies over labor day and the babies all were very well taken care. The prices are the best in town and once again all the staff are great. The bather Susan is one of the best she takes such great care when working with the animals. Thanks to all of them again.
I have worked here at 610 Pet Lodge for 2 years and it was just bought out on August 15, 2011. Meaning it is under new ownership and I cannot begin to tell you what an amazing difference this shop has become. All the staff care about each other and the animals. Business has picked up and we are so excited to let you know that our doggie daycare is growing and we have an average of 11 to 15 dogs on a daily basis. They have a great time and enjoy the group play. You actually get what you ask for now.
we love this place! it's like taking your kid to their favorite aunt's place- our four-legged boy loves it and the staff. every pet's behavior tested- and that makes for happy group play sessions. he comes home happy and relaxed and if he needs a good groom- that's there too. pj is in charge and she loves our boy like her own. it's a place where we never worry about what's going on because the folks care as much about our dog as we do! HIGHLY recommend bed and biscuit!
