Windchimes Dollar Cinema 8
It's great this place is still around sometimes you just don't want to spend too much money and take your kids somewhere to watch a movie.
Dollar movies are great and this one is no exception. Yes it is old but for $1.50 per movie I will deal with that as long as the bathrooms are still clean. They also have a fully stocked concession stand. I think it's great!
I love dollar theaters! More relaxed, more casual, and prices are much, much better. Yes it is a little dirty and a little dank, all dollar theaters are, at least this one isn't in a bad neighborhood. Has good video games and the staff are pretty friendly. I normally don't even look to see what is playing or the times, just go. Something is going to be worth a buck and I can play games till the show starts.
I'm glad we found this theater for the kids! they enjoy the movies & games! they go every weekend
Not fancy, and a bit old, but is great for $1.50! ... a fun CHEAP outing!
Great value, a group of my friends go there every Friday night. But I wouldn't go there on a first date, go ahead and spend the BIG BUCKS at a fancy joint.
good shows, arcade games, popcorn is okay. get what you pay for.

Provided by Citysearch -Well, a $1.50 actually. Considering the prices at first-run theatres these days, this place is a blessing.
Even the concessions (where you'd expect them to try and make-up the difference) are cheaper. All-in-all a great bargain in these tight times.

They kicked you out for being drunk and yelling at an employee?! Oh the humanity!
My boys like this theatre and I can afford to bring all their friends. You also get a card that gives you a FREE Medium popcorn on your tenth visit and you can upgrade to a Large for only 50 cents! It's not fancy like the big chains, but you can afford to go out to the movies more often.

Provided by Citysearch -This theatre is ""closed for remodeling"" until further notice. I talked to a guy who seemed to be the owner last night outside the place about 930. I had driven there to see Gran Torino only to discover it's out of business for the moment. I called this afternoon and there's no answer.

Provided by Citysearch -When you have just got to see a movie that is about to end its cinema run, or when you want to see something for cheaper than you can rent it, this place can come through for you. Comedies are better when you can laugh along with others anyway.
Of course its run down. The lights are dim when you walk in. You really should bring a flashlight and check your seat for gum. Other than that, its not really so bad. They don't make you watch commercials before you watch your feature.
You pay $1.50 and you get 90 minutes of entertainment. It is on a big screen and you can have it loud enough without bothering the neighbors. The down side is the same as at any theater, other people's kids and cell phones, only you didn't pay $8.00 or more to have them ruin it for you like you would at the main cinema.

Provided by Citysearch -I have to say this place has gone downhill since my last visit. i won't be going back. they turn off the air condition half way thru the movie. the thing that hated most about this theater was I felt something crawling on my foot. I happened to were slippers that day. I'm not sure what it was but that place need to be fumigated. I can honestly say this was the worst movie experience I've ever had. it is not worth going there even if the tickets are $1.50.

Provided by Citysearch -I have been coming here for years and they people who work here are really nice. The seating could be a tad more comfortable but your normally have the whole room to yourself. They are a bit high on food prices but I can work with that being the move is only $1.00. Its a buck well spent.
