from an auntie

Both my nephews have been attending whiz kids for about 4 months now. Just last week, my sister had to pull them out of whiz kids for the simple reason of neglect from the daycare. While at whiz kids, my one-yr old nephew ran a high fever, but none of the staff bothered to check on him or even call my sister! As an auntie, I was so angry with the simple fact that they didn't bother to do anything, imagine how my sister felt finding her 1-yr-old son laying limp in a crib while his caretaker greets her with a smile when she came to pick them up after work. Had my sister worked overtime, she would not have known that her son was running a high fever all day without any medical care. After my sister picked my two nephews up, she had to rush her baby to the hospital.

I definitely do NOT recommend anyone to put their kids in the care of Whiz Kids staff. It's overcrowded and by the end of the day, my nephews always seemed so tired. They never get the essential naps that they're supposed to be getting cause their caretakers never make them, since they have too many other kids to tend to.

As a parent, or an auntie, we feel responsible and burdened for having placed our nephews in such a risk.

Our Staff is very loving and caring

Our staff has been together for a long time and gets along very well. Some of us have been here as long as 17 years. Our own children have grown up here at Whiz Kids and are now in high school and in college.
We pride ourselves on being one big family and any child and parent that joins our facility is just that, an extended member. We are very loving, caring and willing to assist in anything you or your child may need.

if you have any questions please feel free to call and speak with me the director....

Quality Care

I have used Whiz Kids for my 2 children when we had a need for weekend care or were going out at night and did not have a sitter. They have always been very nice and taken good care of my kids. My little son Zac has told me he enjoyed being there. The older boy said most of the kids were little and he was OK with the place, just not too many older kids (9+). Sometimes it is crowded and it is in a strip retail center. They do have a playground however, and they serve meals and snacks.

Lazy Service!!!

I was overcharged by $20 bucks, eventhough I picked him up within the 8 hour period. The lady gave me a receipt for a $20 dollar credit. When I attempted to receive my credit a few weeks later, the lady said that it was not on file anymore. Therefore, I have been stiffed out of $20 bucks and my child ended up with a severe diaper rash...which he's never had in 14 months of his life. TWO THUMBS DOWN!!!

Simply the Best

This facility is clean, the workers have been there for many years, they are all loving women, and everyone is willing to assist me in anything that I am trying to accomplish with my daughter. She has been there over a year now, at first as a drop in when we needed weekend care, and now full time. The most important thing for me is that she asks to go back.
