Upon arrival at the Four Season's Hotel, we valet parked our car and the gentleman was very sweet and friendly. When we got to the hostess station, she asked if we had a reservation. We told her we didn't, she was warm and accommodating and sat us in a quiet part of the restaurant. Our waitress came and introduced herself and showed us the menu and the wine list. Then came back quickly with our water. Then we waited... awhile for her to come back to take our order. After our order was taken, we were waiting for our bread to come. It never did. I had to ask for it after we were served our dinner. Which took longer than anticipated to arrive. My son's fettuccine Alfredo with chicken came without chicken. But he was too hungry from waiting, he couldn't wait and started eating. My husband's pizza with prosciutto and arugula and Pecorino Romano cheese was okay. My husband would not order it again. My halibut was cooked perfectly, but I did not enjoy the taste or texture of the brownish sauce that was served with it. There were two other painted sauces on my plate. A red one and a yellow one. Both did not do anything for the halibut and both we crusted onto my plate as if it had been sitting under a heating lamp for awhile and it baked onto the plate. At the end of our meal when I asked our waitress for our check, I also mentioned that my son's dish was missing chicken. She replied by telling me that I should've told her in the beginning of the meal. Yes, when my son was so hungry he couldn't wait any longer to eat. After she returned with our payment, she again said sorry about the chicken, but I should've said something in the beginning, she could've gotten the chicken for us. I'm sorry, we are here to pay for a service. It is not my responsibility to make sure what you serve us is exactly what you promised on the menu. Excuse yourself for making your patron feel like it was her fault there was no chicken on the dish. Overall, the food was mediocre at best and the service was below standard for this type of institution. The only upside is that they validate parking/valet and the valet service is quick, efficient, and friendly. I was disappointed because I was really looking forward to the Quattro experience based on the reviews I've read. Very misleading reviews. I would not recommend this eatery or be a return customer.

Waffling means to go back and forth...yeah, to the waffle station at Quattro. If you have a fat wallet and you are devout fan of National Waffle Day, you can't go wrong with the Four Seasons' brunch.
Simple, warm maple syrup over a fresh, toasty mini waffle, makes one forget about filling up with overly-decorated waffles, bland pancakes, or heavy bagels from the regular breakfast greasy-spoons. Create each mini waffle with different fruit and fresh whipped cream for dessert, and order your coffee black to contrast the tastes. Kids can also order Belgian waffles with warm maple syrup from the children's menu.
The Four Seasons is known for their best brunch in any city, but I would only go here if I were splurging for Thanksgiving or Christmas to experience their lavish decorations and taste a variation of gourmet versions of traditional dishes. Brunch during the holidays is close to $80 per person and close to $30 for kids. Hopefully, you have a small family with a big appetite.

***I would not recommend this restaurant***
Michael our waiter/server was, in a single word… RUDE. When I’m being more polite than the waiter/server, there’s a problem. I’m not, by nature, a rude or impolite person, but it was everything I could do to stop myself from being rude right back at him. When Quattro hired this guy, they really did their restaurant a disservice. Whether having a bad day or not, it’s the waiters/servers job to represent the establishment and put on the face of someone that really cares about your dining experience. Michael was rude, impolite, uncaring, unresponsive and in general, an a$$. Michael acted like it was a chore for him to be waiting on us. He didn’t come by and offer refills on my tea or water, nor offer more wine when my wife was nearing the bottom of her glass. The food was delivered to the table by someone else, and it’s customary for a waiter/server to swing by the table immediately following delivery of the food and ask “Is everything okay”. Our table wasn’t visited even once during the entire meal. We SAW him several times through the course of the meal, but it was fleeting and he didn’t so much as glance in our direction. Michael acted like it was a chore for him to be waiting on us. He didn’t come by and offer refills on my tea or water, nor offer more wine when my wife was nearing the bottom of her glass. He really would be better suited working at a Sonic or a McDonalds or a Whataburger or someplace like that, and I think I may be doing Sonic, McDonalds & Whataburger a disservice by saying that. Even THEY have better service than what we received during the course of our meal.
Thanks to The Four Seasons Hotel, Houston, Quattro and all their staff for making our 4th Anniversary one that we’ll not soon forget. We will not be returning to your establishment, and we’ll be sure and tell everyone we know about this experience.

I went to Quattro for the first time this past week for a special occasion and I was very excited because it had such great reviews, was highly rated, and is in the Four Seasons. When I asked the waiter how the braised short ribs were, he said they were amazing, off-the-bone, etc... so that's what I ordered. When I got my dish, which I order frequently at other restaurants, I was initially surprised because it looked like just one big piece of meat. So, I tried to ""fork"" off a piece of meat (because I am assuming a braised short rib should fall off with your fork), I could not even pierce the meat. So I then had to (literally) saw the meat with my knife - and when I bit into it, it was chewy, tough, not at all seasoned, and borderline cold. I just presumed that all restaurants are different and perhaps this was a different way to cook short ribs, so I had my boyfriend taste the meat as well. I asked the waiter whether it was supposed to be the this way, and he just repeated that it was ""off the bone."" With that said, I NEVER return my food, even when it doesnt meet my expectations, but this was awful! I took a couple more bites, but I just couldn't believe that this was supposed to be braised short ribs, especially at a nice restaurant such as this. So I sent it back to the kitchen... On top of that, my boyfriend ordered a whole wheat pasta w/clams and scallops and he requested alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce. I thought they were going to give him whole scallops (the dish was like $30 i THINK), but they just gave him four clams and they chopped up the scallops?! I mean, it wasn't terrible, but not what we exepcted. The good things I can say about this place are that the garlic mashed potatoes were good (we ordered this as a side), the foie gras appetizer was good, and the people were friendly... but I dont think I will be returning anytime soon.

We've been to Quattro several times over the past 10 years, and I fear with the departure of the great Tim Keating a couple of years ago, the food at the Four Seasons has not recovered,
Most recently we dined there and found the food still not up to Four Seasons standards. I ordered an appetizer of a type of charlotte of chestnut puree, which was unremarkable. The butternut squash goat cheese ravioli was obviously reheated, which was soft in the center portions, but hard on the edges. My main course of filet mignon with garlic spinach, mashed potatoes was excellent. Then a crash back to earth with the bitter chocolate tart, which was cold and soggy on the bottom from being poorly defrosted.
The service is still first rate, as is the atmosphere. We like coming here because of the surroundings, and one can have a conversation without having to shout. But the food was disappointing. Four Seasons - please do something about the kitchen.

Service was terrible, as a young attrative professionals we deserved better then that then to be treated like children. The desert menu was beyond odd, who really wants tomtoes in their dessert? The food was ok. Honestly it was a waste of $111.00 we spent on our ""unromantic"" meal. Aged populations were obviously treated much better then young professionals.

Everything about my husband and I's time at Quattro was fabulous! Our cocktails were wonderful, there home made bread and olives...amazing. My fennel and parsnip soup was very tasty. My husbands Grilled Portobella mushroom salad was delicious. We shared a filet mignon and mushroom risotto which was excellent from first bite to last. The wine list is lengthy and packed full of hard to find gems. Very romantic.

My wife and I spent our anniversary dinner here and had a great time. The food was outstanding with very subtle flavors. The service was also the best. Guests were spread around the restaurant so that we had lots of privacy and we were treated like royalty. Anyone who wants a great night should go there!

I have now dined at Quattro twice in the last few months and both times I have been thoroughly impressed. The lamb chops 'n' shank is out of this world. Wonderful wine selection. This restaurant is a wonderful place for a date or a quiet dinner with friends. Service is above average but nothing special. If I had to complain, I would say they need to work a little on their dessert selection.

WOW! Brunch at Quattro is an amazing thing. The appetizer buffet is a meal in itself and includes a wonderful chef behind the bar to explain everything. The main course choices were outstanding and my snapper was mouth watering! Who knew a golden raisin emulsion could be so divine? Lastly the dessert buffet was incredible. It has a wide variety of bite size treats so you don't have to settle on just one, more fun than a grown-up should be allowed!
The service was a bit slow in explaining how things worked, but once we got the hang of it our 2 1/2 hours were very enjoyable. Of the 5 of us, 3 had never been and are now sworn to return! For $32 you enjoy one bar drink (try the fresh bellini), all of the above and valet parking.

Last I took a date to Quattro's for her birthday and the experience was wonderful. We had a private table in the wine cellar that was incredible. The service was top notch from walking in the door to walking out the door. The entrees were very flavorful and the desserts were to die for. The only disappointment was the ribeye. It was a little too done for my tastes, but my expeiences have taught me that is is hard to get a good steak cooked to a perfect ""Medium"" in Houston. Nevertheless it was a very pleasurable experience.

Yes the portion sizes are a bit small but the bill was alot lower than other places like Marks or La Reserve. I think the food here was equivalent to Marks. The crab bisque was very good and perfectly seasoned. The lamb chop was sooo tender!! The service was very good.. they guessed it was our anniversary somehow and gave us complimentary champagne and chocolate truffles!

No one can do it better than the Four Seasons. They are the finest of all the resorts in the US. I love the ambiance of the resturant. The staff was friendly and helpful with explaining menu items. The icing on the cake, was I got enaged at Quattro. The manager brought out champagne compliments of the hotel. That made everything even that much better. The Four Seasons never leaves any detail unattended.
