Village Cobbler Shoe Repair
Village Cobbler, The
Price Range : Above Average
The shoe repair business has been around since the 1960s my father and mother own this particular shop my father Strives on perfectionism and always has he cuts no corners he makes no excuses he is known as one of the best shoe repairman in Houston he is not like a lot of other shoe repair shops around Houston where the owners know nothing about the business that they own in short they have no idea how to fix shoes they hire people to fix them for them these are what you call coat tail Riders, Business owners to build their hi stature on hired help because they know nothing of their own business if you spend a lot of money on your purses shoes and boots not to mention luggage and just about any other thing you can drag through the front door this is the place to go and has been at this location for almost the past 30 years the other location in town and country is a separate business that is owned by another family member but has nothing to do with this location but also is a Nother wonderful SHOE Shop to go too.
I don't know why this website is listing my name as Scott my name is not Scott my name is Eli Ayala, I am the son of the owners of this business I apologize on this website listing me as Scott
The other reviews have The Village Cobbler (a shoe repair establishment) confused with a fantastic little store next to it called The Villager. Please, please do yourself a favor and do not waste your time or money having anything repaired at The Village Cobbler!!! Their "workmanship" is terribly poor and their costumer service is even worse somehow. And if you do choose to ignore this review, please don't make the same mistake I did of paying in advance for the 10% discount. This is a scam to get paid before you see how terrible their work is when you come to pick up your items.

This is a great place to go and it has a bunch of gifts for everybody (including you). I love how nice the staff is and how they always help me find great gifts for everyone i need gifts for. This store has things for people of all ages and has a HUGE selection of Vera Bradley (which I love). This store also has webkinz, Mary Englebert, and candles. I also love this store because they have great prices and I have never had to go to another store so that I could get a better deal. I also have problems when I go to this store for someone else I just cannot resist getting something for myself!!! I love this store and I highly recommend it to everyone and anyone!!

This memorial area store has been around over 20 years - still with its original owner. It's a wonderful mix of gifts, home accessories, stationery, Jon Hart Luggage & huge selection of Vera Bradley. I've bought everything from baby blankets to lamps & bookends to party invitations (which they even came up with a great rhyme & wording for). They have a good array of ladies clothes if you have time to spend & make it to the back area of the store. You can find something original & not see yourself coming & going. It's the place to go when you're shopping for that hard to buy for person. I always find something for everyone on my list - young & old, but unfortunately end up always spending for myself as well. It's impossible to go without buying something! Go when you have time to burn or when you just have a few minutes. There is always something new & it's always packed with great stuff.
