The Loc Den

The owner has no since of timing and professionalism. She does't have an ounce of concern of her clients time. I've had a total of five appointments at the Loc Den and EVERY APPOINTMENT she was late. One out of the five appointments, I called out of courtesy to let her know I was running behind schedule. Once I made it to the shop she informed me of having to pay $15 extra for being late. Now where are all my $15 plus dollars for her being late. Today was my last straw when I sat in the shop for an HOUR only for her to come out with her purse and keys to say, she'll be right back. WHAT!!!! REALLY!!! That was it for me and no there was NO APOLOGY! NO NOTHING!! and I'm sure had I been dumb enough to stay, I would have still had to pay regular price.... There are too many other Natural Stylist in Houston...to take this from her. Just Crazy, If you want to be treated in this unprofessional manner, this is your place...Good Luck to you!

Drove 4 hours to get her and confirmed appt yesterday after putting down the required deposit; then called to let her know I was otw because I read that she had late problem. She's 20 minutes late and I'm the only appt today.

Very unprofessional. Shenate'Lamar Cardwell will be LATE most times and expect you to pay full price then have an attitude with you when she is late. TIME IS MONEY. My time is valuable.



$85 for first hour $10 every hour after should be the norm. Latch or palm roll locs. Just FYI.



Student discounts are for College Students because middle school students don't get discounts.



Double triple books appointments. Doesn't value your time you will be waiting ALL day. Find some one else or be willing to waste your time waiting.



Good points: She does very good work when she shows up. Thought she was a good person and fair, now I think differently.



Will never go back had to wait hours after driving (I DROVE) 3 hours from Austin to get services. She was late twice. Shame on me. I made referrals to Shenate' she made money off of me and did not have the decency to not to triple book my son's appointment. She was two hours late and I missed an event due to her being unprofessional. NEVER AGAIN!



Apologized but didn't make amends. No just compensation for my TIME, my son's TIME, my family's TIME. Are we at the whim of stylists? NO CALL to communicate with me. Shenate' has my number as one of her clients.
