THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE! i have bought some sofas from here and it has only been 6 months with them and they started reaping already, i contacted the company multiple times since i have guarantee for sofas. and i wil always get a "call you later" or i will contact you as soon as the manager comes. so finally i decided to go to the store since they told me to ring the sofas in to see what was the problem. they were so rude to me in the store
We had excellent customer service. He answered every question we had and explain even more. We bought a twin xl adj base-head & foot and Lawtag Twin XL Advantage plush matt.
That made a King size bed. The only problem is the delivery guys didn't have any kind of protector on their shoes and it was raining that day, we have off white carpets. I'm really not understanding this cause I'm an AC guy and we have to wear them on our shoes when we are in a customers house. That is the only problem we had. Our sale person was Thomas Baar very good sale person we are asking for him when we come back.

Bought an expensive piece of furniture.
The called and told me the item was damaged but I could have the floor model. No extra discount given.
The floor model arrived damaged and the delivery damaged it even further.
You can call these delivery guys nothing but Mexican Trash. They take no pride in their job and are extremely rude and incompetent. So is Customer Service.
It's been three month and my item is still not repaired. They called me tonight to announce that they are coming tomorrow between 9 am and 11am.
Told them that I have a job interview and that they can come after 11 am since I am not available. They just refuse to come at all.
This store is a Dump.

The Dump over charged us on a piece of furniture by 10% by not giving us the 10% discount promised on the mailer they sent us that we brought with us. ..THEN scheduled delivery for August 30. After no phone call the day prior as told by our salesperson, I called customer servive the morning of scheduled delivvery. They told me the delivery would be between 5-8 pm. I had two prior commitments for that time period, but stopped everything to bbe here for it. I called again at 5:38 to be sure that the delivery was on the truck and on its way. Customer service told me that it was out for delivery and that they contacted dispatch and the driver would be calling me shortly. I told the customer service rep I needed to know the time because I had a meeting at my child's school (that I MISSED btw). We kept waiting... no phone call EVER came. It is now 10:00 pm and its pretty obvious no one is showing up. According to the paperwork I have from my purchase, there is nothing open, not even customer service until FRIDAY and if I refuse delivery, they will charge me $100 or a 20% restocking fee, whichever is greater. The Dump is a poor excuse for a business and from the binding arbitration clause I also noticed in our paperwork, they set this all up to only their advantage and make a habit of this kind of behavior. It is not worth saving a few dollars on discarded crap for this kind of garbage. I will NEVER buy from them again! Ever.

Salesman Jerry Smith... sold me a mattress & box.. said they would haul off my old one. LIAR!!! Delivery guys said ""oh they always tell people that but we don't do that. we would be charged for putting in the warehouse"". Also bought an inexpensive table and 6 chairs. Ticket said ""assembly by customer"". He said ""don't worry about that. If you have it delivered it will all be assembled before they put it on the truck"". LIAR!!! So I call customer service when it all comes in a box and the delivery guys refuse to put it together. Customer service says ""Jerry doesn't work today. We are so very sorry. We will call you tomorrow. I don't know when, but sometime tomorrow."" Well...tomorrow came and went. No call. I called to ck status, they said the store had not responded to the email yet. They would email again. Now it's another day later, still no call. My husband gave in and started putting it all together. The chairs are a pain in the @@@#$#$$!! Still no call from the store or from THE LIAR!!!!

My purchasing experience was good, naturally because their taking my money the delivery was HORRIBLE!!! The delivery department is completely inflexible. I set my delivery for a Saturday and was called on Friday with a delivery time of 5-8pm which was not doable for me, when I called to reschedule I was told that I would be charged a restocking fee PER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. When I voiced my complaint I was told there was no manager and I signed the TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF DELIVERY. How is that fair, you tell me when you can come and if that doesn't work for me, you charge me for a restocking fee....NICE! Husband is canceling our order and I will NEVER do business with The Dump, Houston TX again!!!

Another GREAT buying experience! Since the 1st purchase w/ Deborah Stroman I have always seeked her out for my next purchase. Never do I feel pressured to buy, but she always if full of helpful info and current offers. In a past transaction she took the request of a bedroom set I wanted and called as soon as it arrived (month and a half later - not a complaint -greatfull she followed through & remembered the request). Sure there are others that are good with sales, but she stands out as exceptional to me! During this last purchase I called to ask about items I was interested in she had already left for the day, but offered to return to the store to meet me. Thank you again for the smooth transaction! Service was great again & delivery was on time & in the early window of delivery. Please give koodos to Deborah for her service.

We had seen the commercials on TV but were wary of shopping at a store name The Dump. Then I read the reviews here and they were pretty bad. We decided to make the trip and were very glad we did. The 4 acre showroom was far from dumpy and the selection was fantastic.
We were greeted by Robert B., our wonderful salesman. No high pressure sales tactics, he let us wander around choosing what items we might like and when we were ready, he stepped in and helped us make our choice.
After we chose our sectional sofa and needed to accent it with the coffee and end tables, Robert had our table choices carted to the couch so we could see them side by side.
Our furniture was delivered that same evening by nice and professional delivery men, no dings or chips while moving the huge sectional pieces upstairs.
If great prices, nice items, pleasant service in a nice atmosphere is what you want, check out The Dump.

We have a hide-a-bed and loveseat in our house that has been here for over a month. The furniture is all defective and no one should shop at the Dump. Even they do not want to take back their merchandise.
We bought the pieces thinking they were a hide-a-bed with a queensize bed inside(which is what our receipt says). The loveseat was off the floor but the hide-a-bed came from the wharehouse.
When we began looking the furniture over as soon as it arrived we noticed the hide-a-bed was damaged. Then we further examined it and realized it was not a queensize bed. I called the Dump that very night and asked them to come and get the defective and falsely advertised merchandise. They told me there would be all these fees that I must pay when all these issues are not my fault. So now they are leaving this merchandise in my house and our attempts to speak to a manager or person who is in charge are always denied. We have been told someone will call and they never do. The funrniture has been here since Septemeber 21st.
I would like to know what my rights are. I believe that they shoud pay me for stocking this furniture at great inconveniece since September. The Dump has a whole host of people to give you the run-around. I am sure they are paid to keep you at bay.

I Purchased a Leather Sofa Bed and Leather Chaise on March 20, 2009 and they delivered on March 21, 2009 and on the 23, of March I call The Dump and talk to Kim to pick up the Furniture It was not comfortable, they pick up the furniture March 25, 09 and then I call Kim back on the April 1, 09 Wednesday I was informed that I would recevied my check by the 9th of April 09 Thursday I also ask her how much would I get back I was given the wrong amount, then I call back and talk to someone in customer service and they gave me anoghter amount , I do not agree with the amount. After that I have to Ms. Lezat 4/20/09 at 3:35pm Loura, at 1:52pm on 4/23/09. Then I talk to Kim on April 13,09 at 10:45am I ask her what happen to my check , she said let me put you on hold and when she return my check had not been mail out but it will be in the mail within 7 days, on April 21,09 I call back to see when my check would reach my address then Kim said by April 25, 09 , Well now Kim said that I sould have goten the check they did mail it out, Kim, do you want me to get them (The Dump Main Office) to send the check to my office (Houston,TX-I45)so you can drive over to the store to pick it up. You know Kim that is Over 35 mills and I am disable and can not drive that for at times, I came with my friends on the day of my purchas. As of May 13, 09 I do not have my refund but they ( The Dump) have there 20% restocking fee pick up delivery fee and the fee should be 15% and not 20% I do not have my money. Delivery $169.00 pick up $169.00.

I purchased a ""Memory Foam"" mattress from THE DUMP along with a platform. I bought and paid for a Queen Size Set. The mattress was compressed and boxed while the platform was only wrapped in plastic. I borrowed my son's truck in order to save the delivery charges, so I loaded up what they gave me. When I got home and began to set-up the bed, I found that they gave me a double bed platform. I called and they told me to come back and they would exchange the incorrect platform for the correct one. When i got there they told me they didn't have the one that was in stock when I purchased it but they could substitute another platform. I talked with the manager about my time and expense to come back out to the store (another 45 mile roundtrip) and he said he would “discount’ the platform to cover my trouble; that seemed like a fair thing to do. But when I went to the checkout counter they told me my “substitute platform” was more expensive than the one I bought, so they were going to make an restitution for my trouble and expenses. I explained that it was in stock when I paid for it, and when they loaded the wrong one so it wasn’t my fault and they should still be responsible for my time and expense. They flat told me they didn’t care, and it wasn’t their problem.
Anything I saved by going way out there was more that overcome by the all the trouble and expenses to correct THEIR MISTAKE. Needless to say, I’ll never go back and discourage my family and friends to STAY FAR AWAY.
BEWARE of “THE DUMP”; they should rename it “THE DECEIT”

I bought a Natuzzi leather sofa and love seat along with some end tables. They sent two guys to deliver the items and they could barely handle it. They put a hole in my sofa and scuffed the corners of the sofa and love seat. Despite numerous calls, they will not arrange a time to repair their damage. When I said they should take their furniture back they said they would charge me 20% restocking fee even though it was their people who damaged the goods! The manager refuses to accept my calls. Be very, very careful and know that this firm will absolutely not stand behind anything.

Ordered Queen size bed recived a full size bed. Love Seat, Dinning Chair arrived broken. Received the wrong color bar and kitchen table. Manager spoke to me one time and now will not return phone calls. These guys are crooks and their delivery guys look and act like they were picked up out of a homeless shelter. Avoid the Dump at all costs, it's a real DUMP

BEWARE of this company. Furniture was delivered broken and then when ordered replacement, was told we had to wait a month for it to come in... After a month, we were told it wasn't in, but would be here in a week.. in a week, we were told it STILL wasn't in and would take another week!! We are VERY unsatisfied with this place. We are still waiting. Sure, the advertisements and prices are good... but is it worth it?!
