The Black Pearl Tatoo Parlor

Just got my tattoo and it looks PERFECT!!! Everyone is so nice here. I was terrified to get a tattoo and unfortunately I believed everyone's reviews on the internet then I get it done and it's nothing.

I got a tattoo done by Red the other day and all I can say is I am extremely happy with it. I have had tattoos done at Texas Tattoo Emporium and Texas Body Art and his work puts the tattoos I got at those studios to shame. I brought a picture of what I wanted in the day before and he said no problem and had it sketched up when I went back the next day. He drawing was exactly like what I showed him except for a few improvements he made to it. After he finshed that tattoo, I showed him a tattoo on my back that was supposed to be a lotus flower but instead looked like a blue and orange blob (Texas Tattoo Emoprium) and asked him if he could do anything to fix it. He explaned what he could do to fix it and then drew it on my back and then tattooed it. What a difference! It now looks like a lotus flower. I couldn't have been happier. I am so glad I went to The Black Pearl and if I ever get anything else done this will be the place that I will go.

I would like to state that the shop is very nice and clean. I wanted to get a tattoo and I spoke with one of the artist ( I think his name is Jim) and he was very rude and made me feel like I stupid. He went as far as to tell me to basically shut up. I know what I wanted to get and all I was wanting was a little advise and a price. I might go back here with my friend,and talk to another artist, but the bald artist (Jim) will never get a chance to tattoo me. I feel like if I am paying for something that the artist could at least smile and act like he wants my business, even if he don't. The red headed girl working there was very nice .

I went to get a Celtic Knot with my friend, who got a butterfly . And at first spoke with Mike but later decided to have a guy named Jay do it. And Mike worked on my friend... I am so very pleased with my tattoo!!Wish I could post a pic of it!! I already had 2 tattoos, but will def. be going back to get more!! The shop was so clean and evrybody was so friendly!! The price wasn't high, but wasn't low either..lol!! But the way I see it this is going to be on me for the REST OF MY LIFE..So I don't mind paying a little more money, for a LOT more quality!! Thanks again Jay!! I LOVE IT!!

Man , i went down to this place it was ok ...........the work is over price and the art is ok ......i would probably go back but i would had negotitaed the price better
